Thanks for posting this. I've been listening to it at regular intervals over the past 18 months or so, and it makes me feel better, part of something. I just saw David play an acoustic set in London last month and he played this and blew my mind. Jut as he did last year with Wovenhand when I saw them for the first time. Whatever your personal beliefs, I think this man is making the most significant and spiritual music there is today, and God bless him for doing so. Peace.
@montscottish Cheers mate, I fully agree with you. I saw them like the day (or two) after they were in London. Everytime I see DEE he just blows my mind. It's serious, honest music with 'radical' lyrics. No matter who you are or what you believe, the amount of conviction and passion David puts in his music is very inspiring.
@WonderCsabo Wow man, you are right! It's not exactly the same in terms of rhythm but the melody is very reminiscent! I didn't know it was a remake.. thought DEE wrote the song himself. Thanks!
@theSyringe I know it beacuse I'm Hungarian, and a fan of Muzsikás. :) This is originally a Hungarian folk song, Muzsikás adapted it, and Sixteen Horsepower/Woven Hand made a remake from the adaption. The to bands (Woven Hand and Muzsikás) performed this song together on Hungarian Sziget Festival last year. You can watch this here /watch?v=F19tjWt2nUQ
