Steve Hogarth is best singing his own (Marillion) material...not covering Fishs' classics such as this. Hearing the crowd reaction to the pre 1988 material says one thing....FISH!

yes, obviusly, And phill collins is a great composer..(sarcasm)... Hogarth Rulz... Fish is a potato... can´t sing this now... he cant sing in a great band... is only a bad peter gabriel... and hogarth is original... dont try to make other singer...
As a singer, Fish has more energy and he is a greater interpreter.
H, otoh, has a higher range of tones, and he's a more technical singer, with a better texture (and that's why his voice is intact after thirty years of work).
Its interesting - all the fans of old Marillion always complain that the band never play any of the old songs - and then when the band play something for a bit of fun at a convention - they all sit and slag it off.
No wonder Steve Hogarth prefers to only play stuff written in the 11 superb albums since he joined the band (nearly 20 years ago now).
why compare Fish to H why not just enjoy the music

On DVD 2, go to "Bonus Features" and let the menu play for around 4 minutes, after which the video will start to play.
The same works for DVD 1, except you get the "Swap the Band" performance of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here".
