I was a Shaky fan and still have all his albums, but I found this a bit weak. He's done much better stuff than this. The Marty Wilde version is good, but the Honeydrippers version is the best. Robert Plant singing Sea Of love ??? Bizarre maybe, but have a listen if you don't believe me..

I still have this record on an old 45. My version is by Marty Wilde and must have been recorded around 1958. Shakie's version sounds almost the same - excellent.
