Stock resonators help with vibrations and drone, they make it quieter but just barely, took mine off my van and didn't notice a difference, it won't be too loud until you get a loud muffler and get rid of the stock one. A turbo muffler and no resonator or cat will have a nice sound, or the glasspack and resonator both will too.
yeah do it im sure is gonna sound even more tight...im thinking of getting some headers made for mine gotta see cuz i def would like to have better performance
my Tribute only has the FlowMaster Super 40 muffler and nothing more no resonator and it sounds tight like a V8 but its not real loud just has a nice tone so if i was u i would take off the original muffler but thats up to u
i just went to midas, haha, i asked them what would fit, they never really told me. sry i cant be of much help. i got it on pretty much just last minute, i went there just to see what would fit and they asked me if i wanted it or not, but they never told me what the sizings were.
