kings of leon are great. and this is one of the best versions ive ever heard. i cant stand that the crowd isnt in it hear but they were bigger in europe at this time.
love love love this band and i love their southern roots the lyrics in each song are unique and meaningful unlike that of the kooks or some other mainstream band they know how to write great songs and every live performance ive seen so far is amazing best band of the year by far theyve changed their sound so much and have come so far
God this song gives me chills everytime, and I like Nathan singing! KOL have made themselves already. It's great.
Btw, on a hormonal note (lol) I love Caleb's short 'do way better, Jared has by far the best facial structure and is very godly indeed and idk why but Nathan with his long hair and tats...def the hottest band out there. And their dad was a pastor! oh mercy!
Yep, crazy. This was in Grant Park where Obama made his acceptance speech. You know what's crazier? I was at this concert and I was at their concert the day after Obama was elected
One of the best live performance bands to this day, next to Tom Petty!! I was at Lolla and it was AMAZING. I wish I could see KOL ALL the time, LEGENDS already!
wow didnt know people in the midwest listnd to the KOL.... m surprised i thought they would be more of a fall out boy kinda place lol AKA SELL OUT BOY LOL m surprised that midwest people from chicago like KOL
The singer should be an actor aswell. He has a profound honesty in his face, acting and lyrics. He also seems intellectual enough to put down impressive n deep emotional scenes. In contrary to what hollywood delivers nowadays...
I saw KOL back in 2003 @ the Double Door in Chicago...Young & Youth Manhood had recently been released. They were the only band on the ticket and Jameson Whiskey sponsored the event. After the show we got into the Jameson Whiskey after party...These guys really know how to party after a kick ass show...Rock and Roll
I feel sorry for the guys who wanna rock out. It's what you gotta do at a Kings gig! Funny too, this song is about how British fans are better than American fans.
I'm American and I was definitely there rocking out to the Kings! The rest of the crowd just overall sucked, they were all camped out for Pearl Jam and the true Kings fans couldn't make it to the front. I do love Pearl Jam, but some people in the crowd wouldn't know good music like KOL if it bit them in the ass!
Absolutely. Im from Scotland and saw them at T in the Park and everyone was going mad. Watching them on bbc at Reading and crowd is going mad aswell. Probably to do with UK being such a drunken state!
i went to one of their shows in Detroit, Michigan and i think there were a total of 200 people there and no one really knew the band at all besides me and like 10 other people. it was sad.
Crazy. I know they played Wembley Arena in London a few months back. I have no idea how many people went but it has a maximum capacity of 130,000 people.
@xTRESCHIC that's why yankees music tastes are kinda weird...and approach to live music also. Where the hell is the heart and soul? KoL are such an emotional band living for crowds feedback. It's not all because rubbish stuff is invading US charts, i think it's more of a lack of mental perspective.

g1982m 4 years ago 2
Scots and the Irish know how to party, heavy drinking nations (unlike America), know how to get steamin and go mental at gigs.

Its so funny how little Americans respond to KOL...in England everyone would be going mental to this...a bit like what he's singing about i guess.
