you should really invest in some skid plates it sounds like. just bought one of these yesterday with a tekin rx8 1900kv for 300 (for buggy AND motor and esc). comes with skid plates, hope it stands up to my driving. wat type of servo do u use?
@GavinWoodz I just sold mine and got the new Losi SCB10 and it's a blast. I did use a fast HiTech metal gear servo in the buggy and never had a problem with it.
@RCRacing88 It's been pretty good. Broke the chassis once but the car is very fun to drive. Seems fastest when you drive it aggressive. My only other experience is with the Losi which is very stable all the time.
@autoedit Nice! :) The main reason I am looking to get this buggy is because its plastic chassis nad will be lighter :) amongst other aspects such as mech brakes hehe how do you like the brakes? thank you very much
Well I finally got mine and put it together. I ended up going with the castle MMM/2200kv combo for now. Might go to a Tekin 2050 motor later on to tame it down some.
I am torn between buying the CC 2200kv or the CC 2650kv. Looks like your 2650 is doing good. I drove a d8 that had tekno conversion with a 2200kv and it was crazy powerful. Almost too much power.
Poor guy, samequestions over and over. The 2650kv castle motor is radical, made to last ten years of racing, said the engineers who designed it. And castle sells a rebuild kit for only $25.oo. Great driving, love the carbon fiber chassis, wish my Hyper 9e had one of those chassis.great job, great footage.
How much did this car cost?

how do you like this buggy? is it easy to keep stuck to the track? how well does it jump from the drivers POV and does it steer well? :)

The car overall has been pretty good but the chassis has broken right in the middle.
autoedit 1 year ago
@autoedit The broken chassis is that before they updateded it ? or is that the new updated version, are you running the alum skid plates?
cayuga82 11 months ago
@cayuga82 It's the original chassis and no skid plates. Kind of a bummer to swap out the chassis...loads of work and the buying of a new chassis!
autoedit 11 months ago
Have you had any wear problems or breakages? ie susp or hubs or the composite chassis.
Thanks
