Are the software and the doggy camera sold seperatly

@TheHenderson4 The deluxe version includes the doggy camera. The doggy camera is not sold separately.

can you hook up a nikon dx (i think thats what its called) to the software?

@HarrySandals Only if your digital camera can be recognized by your PC as a PC Cam. Otherwise, you will have to import photos you have already taken.

@HarrySandals does you nikon dx have a remote cable/control included? also, if it is a compact digital camera (such as a canon powershot/sony cybershot) then it won't work. but if it is bigger camera/camcorder that can connect to the pc some other way besides USB then it should work.

@Monkeystudios6 Yes, if you have an HD PC cam, you capture and output your video in HD.

did honestech up grade the software from 2.0 to 3.0 or did they just add a doggie cam..?

@squidskunk 3.0 Deluxe includes the Doggie PC Cam. The software has been updated with additional output formats such as HD MPEG, iPad/iPhone/iPod, PSP, facebook, and YouTube. If you have a high definition webcam, you can also capture in HD.
