This is where Co-op comes in handy. Like in that past level, where coins were arranged to make a Flower. There was a star coin at the bottom. The secret? Pick your buddy up, and throw him. Down. At the bottomless pit to try and get the Star coin.

For that sliding penguin coin, you need to freeze the penguin, so it becomes a sliding platform, then jump on it, and jump off when you're at the coin.
