I wrote the lower comment to say that I've tried patches and gum. They help my physical addiction to nicotine, but not the mental habit I've built over years and years of smoking with almost every activity I do.
Today I got my e-cig starter pack, I went with Green Smoke. So far so good, I don't feel the need to cough, but I still feel it a little bit when I inhale, which is what I want when I'm smoking an e-cig.
It's only been 1 day, but this seems to work so far. More than other options.
I've had my left lung partially collapse twice now (technically referred to as a Pneumothorax). I am tall and skinny, and my collapses were spontaneous. But I did smoke cigarettes, which probably helped contribute to this. The second time I underwent surgery where they took part of the upper lobe of my lung out, and it's now held together by staples while healing. (As I write this, I still have a tube in my side with a Heimlich valve for drainage.)

@sodapop43920 I make my own juice and it costs me roughly $9 a month for the eliquid. Plus the cartridge caps for the ego-t which is about $.80 for ten. I use roughly 2 caps a day so that costs me roughly $5.00. So ya it's about $14 dollars a month. However, every few months I need to either buy a new atomizer or battery. So yeah rolling your own with traditional tobacco is cheaper... however I prefer vaping over buying my old brands... rolling my own has never been an option. YUCK

I wrote the lower comment to say that I've tried patches and gum. They help my physical addiction to nicotine, but not the mental habit I've built over years and years of smoking with almost every activity I do.
Today I got my e-cig starter pack, I went with Green Smoke. So far so good, I don't feel the need to cough, but I still feel it a little bit when I inhale, which is what I want when I'm smoking an e-cig.
It's only been 1 day, but this seems to work so far. More than other options.

I've had my left lung partially collapse twice now (technically referred to as a Pneumothorax). I am tall and skinny, and my collapses were spontaneous. But I did smoke cigarettes, which probably helped contribute to this. The second time I underwent surgery where they took part of the upper lobe of my lung out, and it's now held together by staples while healing. (As I write this, I still have a tube in my side with a Heimlich valve for drainage.)

Non smokers will never understand. I have tried to quit 7 times. Gum, patch, wellbutrin, chantix..all have failed. My second week on vaping and Im 100% cig free (from 30 cigs a day). Funny thing is this was almost effortless ....IT WORKS!!

The problem about banning cigarettes is people will find other ways to smoke them, and most likely crime and murder rates will skyrocket. History has already taught us this, for example, in the 20s during the proabition, people just went to speak easys to drink and mobster killed each other over booze, the same will happen, people will go to underground bars to smoke and gangsters will kill each other for each others' cigarettes. @sodapop43920 I make my own juice and it costs me roughly $9 a month for the eliquid. Plus the cartridge caps for the ego-t which is about $.80 for ten. I use roughly 2 caps a day so that costs me roughly $5.00. So ya it's about $14 dollars a month. However, every few months I need to either buy a new atomizer or battery. So yeah rolling your own with traditional tobacco is cheaper... however I prefer vaping over buying my old brands... rolling my own has never been an option. YUCK

I smoked cigarettes for a numbers of years and in 2009 i stopped for 5 months, then i started to smoke again for 2 more years,a few weeks ago i started to use a nicotine patch and only used 3 patches while on the patch i discovered the e cigarettes and i bought one and i really like the product and i have no cravings for cigarettes my clothes,my apartment,smell great and i dont have that cigarette breath.i recommend the e cigarette for all who want to quit smoking.
