  • I went to pre-school show-and-tell and showed my T-rex dinorider off...everyone was impressed. I'm 26 now..20 years later and I'm still swelling with pride at how bad ass it was. I totally owned that show-and-tell!

  • I have a T-rex at home, and still can walk by it self!

    Amazing quality in those toys.

  • Der T - Rex steht bei mir immer noch aufm Schrank ^^

  • I loved those toys, but the brainboxes always broke. It was some cheap shit but it was awesome.

  • This was awesome. Blending futuristic sci-fi with dinosaurs. I had the T-Rex, Triceratops and Brontosaurus.. The Brontosaurus was bigger than me.

  • FIAH ZHE LAZAS!

  • why did this show not do better they got guns on a t-rex come on

  • Goddamn I also remember getting the T-Rex for Christmas. That box was so huge. Now I need to get another one.

  • wish they still sell them . mine got all broken.

  • I believe I had all of them but I gotta know dis they make a brontosaurus

  • God, I loved this toys. The T-Rex was fucking awesome!

  • I always wanted that T-Rex and never got it

  • @Chopzilla1 same here man.

  • @Chopzilla1 'I always wanted that T-Rex and never got it'

Fucken-A, man. I had to make do with my Deinoncychus and Pteranodon, which was fine but the T-Rex was the bomb. And I would also have killed for the Brontosaurus and Triceratops.

  • Your brother eats flies YOU AMPHIBIOUS MOTHER FUCKER!

  • 'your brother eats flies'....what the?!

  • @Danthious Krulos or w/e is a frog. It makes sense if you know the story.

  • Still have the T-rex standing here, no weapons or stuff though. as its more ofa realistic decoration thing.

  • That was when the toys remained cool and awesome at $26...now you need $200 for the same thing or you get eyes painted on their asses.

  • Why does that huge dino have a spoon on its back

  • Did anyone ever want anything other than the T-rex? No. No they did not.

  • @charger619c well i wanted and got first the Torosaurus along w T REX lol

  • The evil voice is me when I'm hungry!

  • Much agreed... there was nothing else like these toys (god bless TYCO). Ninja turtles were so great too.

  • god these and ninja turtle action figures were by far the best.

  • remember how this commercial made you go in a frenzy. they later sold the little figures in packs of just figures and you didnt have to buy their animal counterpart but the costume color was different.

  • oh man I would give my left nut for all those toys.....best childhood experience.

  • holy shit badass

  • That T-Rex was one of my favorite toys.

  • These toys were extremely well-made and designed at that time & standards! I actually threw away most of my retro junk toys from the 80s but I kept Dino-Riders toys because they're of the highest quality among the toys I own!

  • @eriquerique yep dinorider and mask toy's were maybe the greatest toy's ever made.....followed closely by transformers. no other action figures came even close.

  • i had the t-rex. it was awesome.

  • TEHGREATESTBATTLEINTHEHISTORYOFUNIVERSEISABOUTTOBEGIN!!!!!!

    Holy shit, this is awesome!

  • I still watch dino riders. it reminds me of the first time i jacked off.

  • ...... good times.....

  • This vid got me fuckin' hard.

  • @DFVR07 I know right? not as hot the sensual allure of a goat, but still.....

  • Kids these days have no idea what they were missing back in the 80s. I will still take a regular Nintendo over a 360 any day. But alas, it's all memories in the past. The decade had the best toys, best cartoons, best TV shows and the best music ever. Nothing beat waking up on Saturday morning, sitting down with a bowl of Frosted Flakes (or input your favorite bowl of cereal) and watching Ninja Turtles, X-Men, Garfield, then heading outside to play the rest of the day.....I am about to cry.

  • @gestekoe It's called nostalgia. Every generation has it. Our cartoons, toys, etc, are no better than those of any generation.

  • @gojirra5 then how do you explain someone appreciating a time that came before them? I think all music of the past is better than what we got now.. and that 30-40s era cartoons were the best. Tired of the nostalgia argument in defense of crap.

  • @Frizzurd You are only arguing my point exactly. People now say their music, toys, etc now are far better than the past and future, and I am saying they aren't. I won't be as pretentious as you to say that one era is better than any other (past or present), although you can argue some are better, not everything in the past is better than the future (think slavery) and not everything now is better than the past. Calm the fuck down.

  • @gojirra5 I did not say the era was better, i said a form of entertainment is better. I stated my opinion and that i am tired of only nostalgia being used to dismiss the slip in quality today. Calm down? i am not blowing out any fuses lol

  • @Frizzurd Oh my god dude. CALM DOWN. You are making a scene!

  • @gojirra5 Oh yes I have got a rage bonerrrrrrrrr!

  • @gestekoe except the xmen cartoon was a product of the 90s

  • I remember this show as a kid. And I had all three of those toys

  • i never had that diplodocus,but i had the t-rex,tricerotop,stegosaurus and others,but sadly,they're all gone now...

i think they somhow got broken and then i thrashed it...

  • your brother eats flys. lol

  • I had all these toys! They were the coolest!

I'm astonished, however, about the way they pronounce "diplodocus"

    Diploe-doke-us?

    Damn!

  • seriously eh? Lol.

  • @QuartuvLarry how do you think it's supposed to be pronounced?

  • I always pronounced it "DipLAW-decuss"

  • @QuartuvLarry I see. :)

  • Makes sense, right? That's the way I always heard paleontologists on Discovery Channel pronounce it.

    Still amusing to hear! Haha!

  • I used to have all these when I was young.

Dino-riders is also where T-Rex became my favorite dinosaur!

  • Ok, right at the beginning when they're comparing weapons, does anyone else think that the good guys are pretty much outnumbered?

  • Well... both sides are using omni lasers...

  • Anyone interested in this toy line should read the book, Toyland By Ladensohn, it has in depth information about the birth and development of this Dinoriders by Tyco, a very good read.

  • The greatest battle in the history of the universe indeed!!!

  • lol

I had em all, Diplo, Rex and the small cute one ;)

But I wanted the real big one, Seismosaurus.

  • They had a seismosaurus?! Damn...

  • No they didn't. He actually meant the Brontosaurus

  • im so jealous lol. i have always wanted the trex and diplodocus but i never ever did get any.

  • Ha, did that kid say Your Mother eats flies Krulos? That's like the first "your mom" joke ever!

Oh man..I had so many of these guys...the T-Rex was the best present I ever got.

  • I wish I still had mine!!! Loved them!

  • Ah, the 80's...these were great toys!

  • your brother eats flies kruellos!

    lol!

  • still remember this ad.

    so fucking awesome.

  • yeah i had that trex...best toy ever!!

  • those things were the best

  • rofl

  • Tri cannons,lazer,tri lazers,omni lazers.....buzzsaw? lmao. I LOVED this show when i was younger.

  • Can anyone remember approx how much the larger dinos retailed for at the time?

  • The T-Rex was apparently around 50, the Diplodocus, I believe was around 30 and the huge ass Bronto was 80.

  • Kroulos was my favourite toy out all of them

  • My favorite as well. I still have him and his Tyrannosaurus. I also have a very impressive Rulon army with a triceratops, monoclonius, Saurophus, Pteranadon, and two ankylosaurus.

  • I had alot of these, but I got them packaged w/out the armor. They were exactly the same and from the same compnay, but they werent called Dino-Riders or whatever, just Dinosaurs. Man that was like 13 years ago.

  • that diplodocus looks like it have a brachiosaurus head, and theres no fucking way for a tyrannosaurus to be bigger than any sauropod

  • haha true true. I think tyco wanted everyone to buy into the T-rex being the greatest of the dinos, thus making it the largest and most powerful (a sh!t ton of weapons :P) The same thing Jurassic Park did making it the most badass (it or the raptors?), they just didnt alter sizes. Its all what they think the public will buy :)...and yes i bought the hell outta these things when i was lil :D

  • lol, your brother eats flies, krulos!

    love it

  • The BEST Christmas present I ever got was that T-Rex. Thanks for the memories.

  • @hellburger99 dido

  • THEY'RE CHARGIN THEIR LASERS!!!!!

  • I didnt know Nathan Explosion did voice overs in the 80's

  • death metal voice!!!

  • All I asked for was frickin' T-Rexs with Frickin' laser beams on their heads!

  • lol, seems im the first one to get your joke.. or to find it really funny.

  • @pocketmego AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • sadly, they dont do this kind of toys these days.

  • So... a Tyrannosaurus with frikkin' laser beams on his head?
