This is done in fun. I am part of this system(sister school). We do not hand out Black Belts to just anyone . My black test was Brutal..I personally know this group an they ARE TOUGH. I saw this demo live and loved it. I find it insulting that martial artist have to come on here and dis Shocking Shellby veido. In my belief picking a fight with our system isn't being a true martial artist. Gants trains his students quite well. I have never seen a white belt 5 year old with great form like one of his students. The fact people said this was insulting is being rude. Everyone that was their had to train for 4 days in a row. So ya it was fun and Ed Parker would be proud.

For people who don't understand kempo karate demos there suppose to be fun. Their not insulting the art at all. They had great skills and where together with beat. If you don't understand what the gathering is then don't insult it. Mr Gants is one of the best instructors I know. What do you expect, martial artist to be serious 24/7 and have no fun. No, the gathering is about coming together training your butt off and then perform a fun demo for everyone to watch. So stop being negative

@SenseiGerryValido No the reason that people no longer see the martial arts the way they use to is because of all the crap schools that gave black belts to people that can't do a form without tripping over their own feet. This is a demo to gets people to notice whats going on. The silly parts are silly, the serious parts serious. The moves done are with energy and look sharp when their ment to be seen that way. This was ment to be fun. This school can do serious too. Trust me.

all of the people that are negative about this particular martial art or the school dose not know about it all so shut up the intructers and most the kids are the most disaplined people i know so no one as any room to start and the two intructers were tought by ed parker him self and is still being intructed by somone that was one of the originals of ed parkers studints so maybe you should do more reaserch this was for fun and thats how martial arts should be.

@ZIPMORELLO This isn't in anyway traditional Kenpo, its Kenpo 2000 under Skip Hancock. I said to someone else we can do traditional forms as well, but it will bore any one not in the art. This is meant to be fun to watch to laugh about. Its comes across better with the sound.

@cesarantoniomello Oh they are put to the test and all those students passed. The dance part comes from the fact that they had music playing and were doing it to music. Compaired to just having the music in the background.
