Yes, the car for sale is a 280zx (I own 5 btw) but the cars that he showed later in the video (fixed up) are 280z's (I've owned 4). I hope he sells the car, but even fully restored, it will never look like those..different body style.

No, the car he showed is a 280ZX, just as the seller said. It is not a Z. But it's also not a 300ZX which may be the only one you are familiar with.
