  • She hasn't aged a day!!

  • I love her

  • Judith Durham as Gordon Banks as a goalkeeper. Once in generation that is. 20111203@6.13pm Saturday.

  • Awesome !

  • a once in a generation voice...can you believe she STILL has that much horsepower?

  • The Australian Beverly Bivens - and that's the highest compliment I can pay her.

  • Love this

  • i never get tired of hearing any song that has judith singing on it

  • Yup. I definitely thinks she is an elf mix with human @@!! she hardly age at all. OMG!! Voice still there..

  • Judy Durham's THE BOMB!!!

  • Awesome still the same voice timbre after all these years Great song!

  • Wow, awesome! Before pre-recorded performances! Talent is talent, yes?!

  • I should have said, I'll never get tired of hearing Judith Duhran singing that song...

  • I'll never get tired of listening to that song.

  • Yes, one of the best voices I've ever heard!

  • Damn, does this woman ever age ?

  • Wow. Its rare when someone can keep their voice this long. She still sounds great.

  • @MaryMRevis are you an ass or an internet troll? She is dressing the part.

  • yes, judith has maintained that youthful exuberance, and godbless her for doing so. and what a voice to boot.

  • Judith..never lost those alluring dark eyes and that disarming smile...beautiful woman, beautiful voice...thank you for your talent and sharing it with us...thanks too for the post....

  • How can anybody keep from falling in love with Judith Durham?

  • @skooterbud05 I cant see the screen scooter.......lots of tears.......just such a beautiful sound . I wont fight you for her my friend......but I think a few million people may love Judith. But I have to say a thanks to Athol , Keith and Bruce . Without the group , I never would have heard their music. ......now where is my 12 string......

  • This is wonderful! Thank you so much for posting it!

  • I remember and loved this song as a yound girl. Still do. GREAT voices still. but MAN Judith hahah...it was the 90's honey..BUT MAN YOU LOOKED STUCK IN THE 60'S STILL. As beautiful as you are...join us now in the present *hug*

  • still that golden voice

  • Looks like she jumped in a time machine and came forward in time. Wow. She looks like the clip from 1968....

  • Forever a goddess on this earth...

  • paulijo557: "Georgy Girl" was a movie (1966), starring Lynn Redgrave, James Mason, and Alan Bates. This was the theme song.

  • @gladys12373 and written by actor Jim Dale from some of the carry on films.

Judith Still looks as good in this video as she did in the 60s video you can find on here.

  • Okay, I've got this song ingrained in my memory from a lifetime of hearing it. I think it came out about the same time I was born- 10-13-65 ( the same day SNL's Rob Snyder was born), but what in the heck is a Georgy girl? The song reminds me of being an insecure teen. I guess I was a Georgy girl even though I was a boy.

  • Nice to see them sing live, they sound great! The movie was great too.

  • Wow 25 years after .... and they still sounded great !!!!!

  • Great group and great voices, I love this song a lot. EXCELENTE!! Greetings fron Puerto Rico.

  • I remember when this song came out. What a hit!!! and what a happy song. You couldn't help but smile and sing along every time you heard it. Still has that effect on me today. Thank God for that in todays world it's nice to hear it again.

  • they're so old now!

  • @alexsuchapimp With some luck you might get to their age, many don't.......

  • @Proculled they're like 60!

  • @alexsuchapimp

    What's your point mate ?

  • 懐かしいです。

    若返った気分に浸りますね(笑)

  • Wow, what a talent. I had so forgotten how talented she was. Thanks for posting. I have been in heaven tonight watching Judith on Youtube. Fantastic.

  • WOW !!

    Thanks for posting kiddo!

  • Judith is a delight and joy forever...

  • after just voting thumbs up for Judith...I see 2 thunbs down....how on earth can anyone not love this woman and her voice.....I only wish I could have seen her in person...how i love this womans voice...

  • judith always conveys a sense of joy and happiness.she is truly our gift from the heavens.beautiful woman with a beautiful voice and spirit

  • I am lucky enough to be British where Judith Durham and The Seekers were so popular in the 60s, they capture the spirit of the swinging 60s, its just so nostalgic watching and listening to this, I cannot understand why they never made a breakthrough in America.

  • @Whitbywatcher Yes! Judith does have a beautiful voice here, and as we all know girls can hit that high C. Getting back to your question about The Seekers in America... one group... The Beatles! They took over from almost everyone.

  • @Whitbywatcher I grew up in that time period and I remember Georgy Girl was a huge hit here in the states. I don't remember them touring here but I know their records sold millions.

  • Judith Durham is such a beautiful woman, with a fabulous voice!

  • How could she not have aged at all??! Thats unreal!

  • Nice to see her hair didn't change in almost 30 years!

  • The Seekers still have that mysterious talent like the Moody Blues when it comes to entertaining a "Soccer Sized Stadiums" Dan O'Niallain, Grafton, Ma.

  • She hasn't aged even one little bit!!

  • Thank you for the video. I was a child in the 60's but have always loved this song. I think that we all have some Georgy in is regardless of male or female. I know that I definitely was, and thankfully I found the true person inside. Ann

  • just such a shame they were what they were so long ago because if they were around now doing this they would have the popularity that they sooo deserve. The best quartet i ever heard and one of my faviroute bands.. =)

  • If that was Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera or Miley Cyrus up there singing "Georgy Girl", they'd all be half naked. Judith has always had class, and has always dressed like a lady. I guess that's because Judith has talent.

  • @Beautifulmusiclistnr There was a time when music was about the music not the flash

  • @Beautifulmusiclistnr and they'd be lip syncing or out of pitch

  • I really enjoyed this. THANKS for sharing.

  • Georgy girl l hope we will never lose our humanity when it comes to a quartet such as this we can all think of beautiful warm places and thoughts of contentment .

  • I LOVE THIS WOMAN...I CAN'T SAY ANY MORE.....

  • I LOVE this group but, is this lyp synced? Nevermind, A blind man can see that it is. Judith Durham is "da bomb" ! This came out at a time in my life that I wish could have been suspended. I wish that I was still trapped in that time.

  • @jeffs55 NO WAY is this lip synched.. It's live, but out of synch in the huge venue... The Seekers rarely, lip synch a performance. Mostly because THEY DON'T HAVE TO...

  • @iowa61 I agree. I have watched this performance a few times, and in my opinion i , dont think its lip synched, infact, no, no it definately isnt, you can hear it, this woman is singing live.

  • @jiggarypokery All stadium performances have "delay" issues. It can really throw some performers off without the right sound engineering...

  • Love You Judith! Sir david

  • Amazing the rest have aged, but Judith doesn't look like she has aged a day!!She hasone of the most beautiful voices.

  • amazing perfection

  • Wow...two of my favorite things...the Grand Final...and the Seekers...together! I agree with Wally...a six star clip! Thanks Proculledtwo!

  • gorgeous

  • Wonderful performance by the Seekers

  • Georgy Girl......Lynne Redgrave.... 1943-2010.... R.I.P.

  • Wow she's so thin.

Most women her age are round like balls. Other than a few wrinkles, she looks as good iin old age as she did in the 60s.

  • Happy Memories of Melbourne

  • wow! judith still sings so beautiful and looks great! great to see this group still performing!

  • For a halftime show this sure beat a "wardrobe malfunction!"

  • Here they called them 'the Pride of Australia". . .

. . .but we Yanks here in the States loved 'em, too!

I'm adding this to my favorites. . .

    . . .thank you for posting this. . .

  • Years have passed, but the music NEVER ages..... :)

  • Wow!!;-))

  • WONDERFUL! TODAY AS YESTERDAY

  • She looks exactly as she did in 1968 on the previous video.

  • I thought the Seekers broke up because Judy wanted to pursue a solo career. Was she successful?

  • @luv2aptnz She toured the world with her talented husband singing jazz and pop. And overall was quite successful artistically, which was most important to her. The Seekers periodically reformed without her using a new and always very talented female vocalist. Of course, it was not the same. 25 years later Judith reunited with "the boys" in a series of triumphant tours and recordings for over 11 years. Much of it is here on Youtube, including this clip.

  • @iowa61 Thank you for this information. I'm glad she has done well, she has a wonderful talent.

  • Just a class act. They dont build them like that anymore, sadly.

  • My God the voice is the same in a word pure Magic pure 1960s and one of the very best Judy Durham and the Seekers

  • We are not likely to see the likes of this talent ever again. Most of what you see in the music

industry today is a poor, anemic reflection of truly great talent! The youth today who have taken their place are for the most part great pretenders/ arrogant musical dropouts in my

    professional opinion.

  • @cinematic35 so very true ! Also the Seekers would never incite riots, promote drug abuse, dissing women, glorify violence and fire up hatred, so common in the music the youth of today listens to . This song was actually the first song I looked for when one-and a half years ago I finally got an internet connection fast enough to download You Tube videos.

  • @ThomaSKApatijn You're right! The Seekers would never promote any of that trash like riots, drug abuse, dissing women, glorifying violence, etc. Georgy Girl is a long time favorite of mine, and I SO much enjoy this song!

  • @cinematic35. You are so right! The "lack of music" industry today is an anemic and pathetic reflection of great talent. I'm sad for all of us who don't have beautiful songs like this to listen to on the radio anymore. The "singers" today are so arrogant like you said. Very good comment!! Thanks

  • Nice 1994 comeback!!! I wish "The Seekers" they would consider some more "mini tours". Dan O'Niallain, Grafton, Mass.

  • Great song. Co-writen by the Carry On series actor Jim Dale.

  • Judith Durhan this woman has a wonderful voice

  • HER VOICE & THE MELODY OF THIS SONG EMANATE A VERY SOOTHING & GRACEFUL QUALITIES. Thx 4 posting.

  • Where was this??

  • This woman's voice is an endless miracle to me. I've been listening to it since my babyhood (I'm 41 now) and I can never truly believe how beautiful it is and what I'm hearing.

  • judith still smart as she was all those years ago wow

  • @ystrad47 Exactly Amy Winehouse and co will NEVER match such tallent I love the sound as much as I ever did

  • I agree, I get all choked up when I hear her sing. She was still beautiful in '94, and still had the same beautiful voice we loved in the 60's.

  • Great song for a great film..

  • Judith looks just the same as in the sixties. It seems like if she never grew old :)

  • Uh tibbytabby, technically Judith wasn't "old" at 51!

  • Yeah, please,I'm 57. The local Taco Bell gives me free sodas as a "senior citizen," but I still myself at about 16, as when this song was popular.

Still, I belong to the generation who refused to trust anyone over 30.

I'm an aging Sikh hippie from Montréal, I guess.

  • Yeh simayana. These days I trust no one under 30!

  • Actually, I think a lot of us have forgotten the hopes and dreams we had when we were younger. I forgot for a while. Listening to these old songs brings it all back.. I gotta go. I have work to do!

  • Yes cynicism can replace youthful dreams. But a mature spiritual attitude makes ageing ok. I do Tai Chi. There are many Ways.

  • Spiritual? Certainly. I'm not sure what "mature" means, however. Ageing doesn't disturb me at all. I remember another old song:

"Thinking young and growing older is no sin

And I can play the game of life to win."

I am Sikh. I do Waheguru Simran. Does that count toward spiritual maturity?

  • Waheguru simran -- realisation of one's highest aspects and purposes through awareness of God, the wonderful teacher. It's certainly spiritual!

By "mature spiritual attitude" I mean that one's understanding of spritual infinity may increase with age. I see no point in trying to think as when I was young. My body is worse, but my mind is better.

  • @simayana

A Sikh hippie from Montreal who eats Tacos. I like you already. Do you oil paint?

  • @simayana Have you go to his concert?

  • @c0179614 I'm also simayana, a woman of many names. Whose concert?

  • Well she does here..but this video was from 1994 mate.

  • ..Judith's phenominal voice should be heard by a whole stadium full...teriffic accompaniment!

  • I'm so glad that I am able to see them singing this today!

    Thank you very, very much!

  • What a nice song. Who would have thought that it would find it's way onto The Simpsons (kind of)!

  • It's used in the Lisa The Beauty Queen episode.

  • To me, the whistling sounds like the introduction to a soap! I'm not sayin its bad tho :-)

  • the world may change, but thank heavens we have the pure silvery voice of Judith Durham to remember and experience through YouTube. enchanting and delectable this is stylish music from the sixties that can never be replaced.

  • boondoggle6

You are so right, No one can compare to Judith durham and the seekers along with the great music of the 60's

    Nothing today can compare. David

  • I doubt that ANY group can match their ability to deliver such an amazingly full, authentic sound in a live setting. And here they do it in a stadium for pete's sake...

  • Not lip synch. Its a large area with speakers dotted around so its just the delay to the microphone recording the video. Also, Im sure after 40 years prractise she would not lip synch so badly even if she did have to

  • she looks like she's lip synching

  • I think that's a problem with youtube. I notice this effect in other videos.

  • Not a chance. It's stadium acoustics...

  • Great group and great songs too! I have most of their songs and this great hit too. It Made into hit parade in Fiji Island in the sixties.

  • I think Judith and the guys should do one more short tour UK, USA .. Just a short tour! They are the 60's

  • Excellent!! Truly a fine performance and a wonderful video clip that put a smile on my face and tugged at my heart. So good to know that in 1994, this fabulous quartet was still there... bringing their sound and charm to so many people once again. A big five stars for this one, Proculledtwo! Thank you! -- -Wally

  • You're welcome Wally. And remeber once you have let Judith into your heart she never leaves.

  • @Proculledtwo i am very happy to hear this i am from 1965 and i remember hearring this on the radio all the time . this must have been 70's , and heard it alot ; would this be right .

  • @WallyPlumstead I love the seekers and lovely judith but here in 2010 am sad that I can not get to Australia to see them on the road with Andre Rieu. I am praying that a public TV station here in the USA does tape the show for future use.

Love to see them all again one more time. Thank You. Sir David

  • I like this beautiful song !! Thank you ! ! !

  • Sivers down my spine, big smile on my face and a warm feeling inside...Judith and the guys did it again! Thank you very much for posting this video, and thank God for the Seekers!!!

  • What a voice! Judith Durham is unique!

  • Beautiful voice!

  • What a treasure of a clip!

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - come back to the UK and sing

  • The fantastic Seekers trilling the 1994 AFL Grand Final crowd, only one sad side to this scenario was the Geelong Cats got rolled by West Coast Eagles.

  • I love Judith!!!!!

  • It doesn't matter who, where or when. The Seekers excel!
