  • i cant create the curve on the triangle help me!!!!

  • how did you make your intro?

  • whats the apple tool?

  • @Specktrofscapy It's the command (cmd) button.

  • I tried following the tutorial and as sure I as I am its good.. you have really poor teaching skills... try actually explaining what you press and how you do it.. not just do it and be like oh yeah i done that... moving on. fool.

  • @AdriianFTW I'm gathering that either you're not using your eyes whilst watching this video or you have literally just bought photoshop. If you are new to photoshop then I would suggest watching a few "Introduction to photoshop tuts" to familiarize yourself with the software. However if you struggled with a specific area, ask and the answer will be given, just like others have taken the opportunity to ask questions depending on their learning level within photoshop.

  • @AdriianFTW You Just Got Schooled Son.

  • Any chances of getting a tutorial on the background you have on that?

  • whenever i try to create it into a smart object all the layer effects go all fucked up, how can i stop this form happening?

  • I think this is very possible in Gimp however I'm not an expert on that software. These tuts are just for PS users. but I'm sure there are tuts out there for Gimp users

  • hello, nice looking logo really! however, I dont have PS but only gimp. would that be possible in gimp with the same quality too?

  • Hi,

I want to thank you so much! You helped me making a great logo.

The endresult of mine is my current logo

  • This kind of logo should be done in Illustrator, not Photoshop, so it is scalable without quality loss. ;)

  • @elspiko2008 I see your point but I'm not sure if you are aware that you can use shapes and the pen tool in to create vector shapes (which are scalable). This tut is specific to Photoshop users to help them utilize the software to the best of it's ability.

    Thanks for your feedback though!

  • @LRDFactory thanks for answering. yeah, I know there are scalable shapes in photoshop, too. but the layer style effect like the inner shadow isn't scalable the way it should be. if you resize your logo, the layer style will look different. if you want to keep the look, you must change the layer style values or rasterize the whole logo.

  • @LRDFactory when it comes to layer styles; anyone following this tutorial should have the freedom to make tweaks depending on preference.

To maintain the same layer styles when scaling the best thing to do would be to convert the logo to a smart object. By doing this you can then make the design scaleable whilst maintaining the quality of the layer styles.

  • @LRDFactory However this tutorial is here to give direction on how to create a logo, so hopefully after watching this others can take these techniques and apply them to their own designs within the formats they are working in.

  • i dont have apple and command buttor, WTF?

  • @BomBforLvL you have the Ctrl, Shift and Alt key. One of them is the command key. You can try it or use google for it.

  • when im curving it at 1:38 i can do the first one fine, but the second one doesnt do anything? help?

  • @xRioku Are you making sure you have 2 points? Did you get it working in the end?

  • @LRDFactory yes, its sorted, thanks for the great tutorial, subbed ^_^

  • what did u say at 1:13

  • @ReptarInHD

He said to hold the command or apple key. If your using Windows, use the ctrl key.

    Hope this helps.

  • @xXStevieGillenXx Thanks man! It's been years since I've touched a PC! Not up to speed with PC short cuts! lol!

  • the gradient doesnt do anything for me what do i do

  • @justGreaves Good idea! That would definitely work as a final design however this logo was made up for tutorial purposes so we made the emblem big for viewing purposes.
