I got an unreachable tail once with Akantor, I cut it off while he was close to the wall, and after he did the stupid "OMFG MY TAIL!" action the tail disappeared into the wall. Two carves lost that day.

my number 1 monster hunter bullshit:the distance the raptors can jump. i mean seriously in jurassic park they can jump about 10 feet? here they jump at about 20-25 feet and they almost never miss except a few times. and dont get me started when your doing an egg mission. i know some people might say wth at my comment but seriously tell those raptors dont jump to far not to mention they alway land next to you when you carry an egg.
#7 isn't monster hunters fault, honestly its yours, for misplacing your hunters body too much than to be able to reach the ledge, and #1 capcom put that there because without animation monster hunter would be way too easy healing and using items without stopping... mostly all of these 10 were able to be avoided thanks to skills in armor sets and items you could use. If you have such a problem with all those, do something about it and make some armor stones with the right skills to avoid those.
I think it's so funny that all the Pros here are trying to defend those flaws. Everything can be avoided to some point, but some things are utter crap and can make you NOT play the game to begin with. I agree with you on some points, such as healing but the weird hitboxes of some monsters and glitches like the tail being unreachable are all things that can be fixed for a more fair gameplay.

If you chug a potion in front of a pissed rathian, you're asking to get hit. It's a device Capcom used to punish you for having to recover from a fight. They didn't make the animations for humor or something, it's a penalty.

Makes the game a whole lot different. If you could pot without any action whatsoever, killing most monsters would just be a matter of hitting and potting at the same time.

Just remember, that the tail whip is ALWAYS performed an EVEN amount of times. Don't rush in every time a monster finishes his attack, always wait and see what will it do next, for example when rathalos/rathian turns around slowly after a dash attack, fireball will always be next. Be patient, life is expensive, better wait a few more seconds
5: Bro tip: Dodge rolling doesn't always work on this. Especially if you don't have evade +2. Tail Whips also have retarded hit boxes. I've been hit by tailwhips while under their legs: It makes no sense and it is indeed retarded.
2:'Cameras have always worked that way' is not an excuse for having a crappy camera. And having your back to a wall is a valid strategy at times.
1: I can agree that you need to use items strategically, but how about raging tigrex? May as well leave the damn map...

work his legs at first, remember his attack patter, make sure you watch out for his roar when he is mad and remember when he does a turn to see you he will never shock the ground, hint thats your chance to attack, he will only jump or shoot his electricity easy to avoid, and use fire weapons but mainly wear out his legs so when you continually attack his legs he falls then you can focus on his head
ok red khezu is different he isnt weak to fire he is weak to ice I believe treat him like a regular khezu, his movements are exactly the same, but he is in the swamp so he can climb in the caves, so he can climb on top of the ceiling, still the same movement pattern just take out his legs like before, this time make sure you dont get near his shadow when he's on the ceiling, and I believe you should use an ice sword, you can attack him when he shocks the ground go for the tail keep your distance
I originally used blangonga armor and devil slicer but that is actually a stupid setup but I learned how to fight him pretty quick, although if you could get the eager cleaver even though he is thunder element, it would be better than shark the sharpness sucks on shark, and you can use blangonga but it is a little weak to lightning, try to find something with either earplugs or good lightning resistance, really I wouldnt waste my time making new armor though I used blangonga til I got to g rank

theres a trick to dodging tail whips, u have to time the jump right so that u are in the air right when the tail is directly above u.
and the unreachable tails, lol thats funny, its never happened to me but that would suck if it did

work his legs at first, remember his attack patter, make sure you watch out for his roar when he is mad and remember when he does a turn to see you he will never shock the ground, hint thats your chance to attack, he will only jump or shoot his electricity easy to avoid, and use fire weapons but mainly wear out his legs so when you continually attack his legs he falls then you can focus on his head

ok red khezu is different he isnt weak to fire he is weak to ice I believe treat him like a regular khezu, his movements are exactly the same, but he is in the swamp so he can climb in the caves, so he can climb on top of the ceiling, still the same movement pattern just take out his legs like before, this time make sure you dont get near his shadow when he's on the ceiling, and I believe you should use an ice sword, you can attack him when he shocks the ground go for the tail keep your distance

I originally used blangonga armor and devil slicer but that is actually a stupid setup but I learned how to fight him pretty quick, although if you could get the eager cleaver even though he is thunder element, it would be better than shark the sharpness sucks on shark, and you can use blangonga but it is a little weak to lightning, try to find something with either earplugs or good lightning resistance, really I wouldnt waste my time making new armor though I used blangonga til I got to g rank

The unreachable tail thing happened to me.
I was fighting the Lunastra at the volcanic zone,I cut it off but IT LANDED IN THE LAVA.
so I thought i can still kill the Lunastra,THE BLOODY THING RETREATED!
still funny when it happens though.

Monster Hunter is a fabulous game but there are so Many stupid glitches,and stupid stuff like the #1 that pisses me off... and the big monsters errors too,like the monster is so big the tail is supposed not to hit you but it still hits you, and when for example a Khezu jumps toward you, you roll under him, it looks like you perfectly dodged him but it still hits you:BULLSHIT,hope those errors are fixed on MH3 of Wii.
