no way in hell this kid pulled his lens off, i just heated mine up for 15 minutes and ended up actually cutting myself i was trying to hard. also it's obvious it isn't the same lens, there is a cut between him taking his lens apart and him putting the so called modified lens in front of his camera.

dude i did the same thing. blowdryit for 10min. then squeeze the ring tight and screw it off. dont fe afraid. if you hear something crack, its the glue they put on so you cant unscrew the ring off. just go for broke.

It is a fisheye, a very bad one at that. It isn't very wide even if you do mod it. Your better getting a baby death.

it's semi fisheye. its written to the lens... and in my opinion it's quite good one comparing to babydeath lens this has better image quality and this supports zooming and babydeath doesn't... but im not saying that babydeath sucks it's very good lens. and it has wider image. it was my second choice but i got raynox 'cause it was cheaper and it supports zooming and it had better imagequality... it really depends what you want from your lens...

Century's glass is way better than Raynox's glass. The whole point of a fisheye is to be able to capture someones whole body while working in close areas, so i don't really see a need to zoom. Your better off getting a wide angle in that situation. I currently have the raynox and i think it is a complete waiste of money, it just sets you back 100 bucks from the raynox. I have a job so 100 bucks isn't much to me, but i guess if you really can't afford one this isn't the worst option.

you have to turn off ur ois or dis.. that is what makes your fisheye shake. go to your settings and find it

Dont' be a pussy, just do it. I did it the other night, and it is a vast improvement, i did notice that one side has more vig than the other. Anyways it is worth it and i will have a video of the comparison between the normal lens and the mod on my vimeo acount once i get my firewire cord, ill leave a link when it is finished
