If it is all a personal choice then why is he telling his story? What's the point of making people feel guilty for driving an SUV but then saying on factory farming, that is a personal choice that nobody should lose sleep over.
@DanielManahan I think the point he is trying to make is that for him (not)? eating meat is more about health and not about the environment or even animal rights. Eating less meat to reduce green house gases and reduce energy consumption is a "relatively new concept" to those who aren't veg.
@DanielManahan I guess for Al Gore protecting the environment only matters because humans need it to survive. Those of us with a bigger conscience want to protect it for everyone, not just our own species.
Personally, I'd lose a lot more sleep over contributing to animal torture/exploitation, than I would over driving an SUV. Of course, I wouldn't be caught dead doing either. :)
