You have to be careful giving advice! Just because the body is made up of a lot of water doesn't mean that trapped water from the neti pot is okay. The neti pot is great but if all the fluid doesn't come out, it can stay trapped and lead to infection. Or worsened condition.

I just did this four times consecutively using 4-way, neti pot, and saline. No results at all. Waste of time. My left ear is still plugged and my right (which was fine) is now crackling. Maybe it will work for you, but I don't recommend it.

My doctor told me to use the NeilMed Sinus rinse solution. This includes a bottle for water and a solution for the water. I am supposed to squeeze the bottle in one nostril while blowing out thru the other. Then repeat on the other nostril. Will these exercises work with this method?

i'll tell you what. I had a sinus infeciton in 2002 which caused my left, then later, my right ear to clog. I must have something else going on. I did it 4 times and it didn't work. Dr's are convinced it's an "external" infection but the loss of hearing, ringing, pressure, and sporadic, severe pain makes me think otherwise. Especially since the Dr DID at one point see my ear drum.

Finally went to ENT...LOL He found white crap STUCK to my ear drum and sucked it off. I explained to him that I had had steroid injections in other parts of my body never with adverse reactions and the drops I had uses were steroid based. I asked him if it's possible that a certain part of the body, like the ear, can have a reaction and he said "definitely" Later on it dawned on me. The drops were a "suspension"steroid drop, and stuck to it and made it way worse. Both external and mid infection

BE CAREFUL!!!! I am sure this technque works for some people but it may make your problem worse. Although it looks pretty simple, yogis spend years learning techniques of jala neti. The causes of blocked ears are wide ranging and you may exacerbate the problem by trying this - I did!!!

It can cause trouble if you have an infection brewing or full blown yes. If you have some antibiotics around, take 3 days worth before doing my remedy to remove any possible infection. If do not try hard enough to get the clog out or you leave the water in instead of getting it to drain back out, then yes it can cause some pain for the next few days. So many people have gotten relief as opposed to problems, I feel it is worth it for you to try it if you are REALLY suffering.

Have you ever heard of a clogged eustachian tube causing a ringing in the ear? I think that is what I have. Beacause I used afrin for about 2 months straight everyday for my sinuses and didn't know it can cause stuff to harden in your ear. My ear never rung until this happened. Just wandering. Thanks

Did you use Afrin nasally as directed or did you irrigate the sinuses with it using my Earadicator remedy for clogged ears? I'd like to help but need more details. Ringing in the ear is called Tinnitus I think....I am not that familiar with it.

It works for most people- you can read the many testimonials on my web site. If you do not get the fluid back out by doing the exercises again to make it drain fully, or if you have a ear infection to begin with in your clogged ears, yes this can make it worse possibly.

Unfortunately my doctor is kind of an idiot. he seems to be very limited on his ability to answer my questions. i have asked him about just using a neti pot and he said, "whats a neti pot"....yeah i have no faith in this guy :(

I can see that my ear drums are still red but since my antibiotics are not working i think i dont even have an ear infection. i think its just irritated from having the mucous or fluid or whatever stuck in my e-tube.

If you Dr is that clueless, and sadly, some really are - then find another one! He probably has you on the wrong antibiotics too for god's sake. Only certain ones work on soft tissue infection. If they give you the right one, it does not take 2 different ones- again sorry it did not work for you.
