  • I thought they didn't HAVE lines in Vietnam. Somebody told me that's why we didn't win the war and that we haven't won any wars in which there were no front lines.

Which I beg to differ with. There were no front lines in the desert wars, and we didn't exactly do THAT horribly. Not that I'd completely know but still.

I thought there were no defined lines and that b/c of undefined lines, that's why we would sometimes be in Laos and Cambodia without even realizing it right away.

  • The one at 0:28 is my grandfather! :p

  • I really wish they blew that asshole's brains out. haha. :) What a psycho.

  • them bastards got away with mail fraud

  • @slyrader1 In the whacked-out brother's mind "mail fraud" probably consisted of putting a stamp on crooked... :(

  • Would it really have been so hard to call in somebody from the FBI? I mean, it's not like the guy is asking for a million dollars and a plane to Cuba. He's obviously disturbed, and playing along might have allowed the situation to be resolved. Even if it didn't work, I can't imagine it would have made things any worse.

  • Yankees RULE!!! Red Sox BLOW!!!

  • @TheMKEWERBY My BROTHER sure wouldn't be happy to hear of it.

He called them the Spankees, probably just b/c I like them.

  • @vickiormindyb Yeah, Probably!

  • As soon as I saw the briefcase and they said that the papers didn't make much sense I thought right away that he was schizophrenic. Schizophrenics quite often see patterns in things that make no sense and think that they've come across something amazing eg. conspiracy plot or proof that aliens exist.

  • @Sammygirl1231 "conspiracy plot or proof that aliens exist. " LOL, that describes a LOT of YouTubers!

  • are they brothers

  • cool

  • Post traumatic stress syndrome is common. I think it's sad that people with mental illnesses are not treated correctly.

  • The guy who held us hostage never gave an ultimatum. He just started shooting people after not liking something the dumbass banker-who was on the phone w/ him-had said.

The officer was right when he said the captors hold all the cards.

But for the record, the banker was totally stupid. He thought the guy wasn't serious and called his bluff. Totally unexpectedly, he calls the guy's bluff.

If the police had any inkling it was going to happen, they never would have let him talk to the gunman.

  • Why do they have a dog?

I guess that explains why I could have sworn I heard a dog barking when I went out to get the food for the guy who robbed my bank.

It took place in a large city. I couldn't figure out why I was positive I could hear a dog barking. I just thought I was going crazy.

The robber used me as a shield in order to pick up the food they brought him.

  • bring peace 2 the dog!!!! :)

  • I'm wondering why the police didn't at least check into what the brother said about them committing mail fraud. you never know they may have been and they just let them go after they left the hospital. I know the guy was nuts, but who ever said you can't be truthful and nuts at the same time.

  • I hope my brother doesn't come back from Afghanistan this way. He already changed after he went to Iraq in 2003; NOW he's in Afghanistan.

  • excuse me, but, what is the segment shown after!?

  • @sgillman16

An elderly man named Ed has a heart attack while running a race...

  • the suspect looks alot like vascase in Beverly Hills chihuahua! LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • nice side shot of the SWAT vehicle, how is that done without running over the cameraman?

  • he zooms in on it with the camera

  • you mean presses a zoom button on the camera or carefully walks towards the swat vehicle?

  • they zoom the camera on it

  • I don't remember but I think Ed's friend in the next segment says "It's Ed. And I'm responsable for his death because I asked him to come to Shippensburg to race".

And I think what happens is Ed has a heart attack and falls on his face on the track.

  • When my brother returned from Iraq, he wasn't the same person who left. Fortunately, he also likes to help people.

He was talking about becoming an Army Medic the last time I saw him.

  • I don't know WHAT the hell is wrong with this comment, b/c it has no judgment value in it.

I'm just grateful that the war didn't make him want to hurt people.

People give comments minuses just b/c they don't like the person who made the comment.

The person who gave me all the minuses the 1st time did it b/c I said something he disagreed with; so he went through and found every comment I made on 911 videos, then gave minuses to all of them.

  • I don't understand the sentence the man got.

Our Division Chief is a Vietnam Veteran, who also served on the front lines.

He won an award for pulling three children from a burning building.

He told me that most Vietnam Veteran aren't "wack jobs," something I never would have known if I'd never met Jerry (our Chief.)

  • I don't understand that sentencing.

Our Division Chief is a Vietnam Veteran, who also served on the front lines.

He won an award for pulling three children from a burning building, and he's always interested in helping people.

In fact, the guy in the segment would make him angry. He once told me that most veterans aren't "wack jobs."

I wouldn't have known if Jerry hadn't told me.

I was born near the end of the Vietnam War and have no memory of it.

  • Hey Zach, I have a special request in terms of segments.

If you have time, could you put the first segment from this episode up on December Second? I turn 19 on that day and from what I understand, the first segment happened on December Second of 1990. If you can, thanks. If not, that's fine as well.

  • How many times does this guy say FBI, or Federal Beuro Of Investigation??

Why is he so insistant on the FBI??

  • He was crazy!

  • He was something allright!

  • I love you BeatleMoe.

  • What were these papers that police slided under door before they break door down?

  • The gunman was accusing his brothers of committing mail fraud, and those papers were the papers he planned to use to make his case against them when the FBI got there.

  • DANG IT

my daddy is SOOOO glad he didn't go to the war after this!!

    or else i'd be screwed!

  • A mentally ill man taking his brothers hostage. That's wierd. I don't know about that, but I heard Vietnam War messed quite a few American soliders.

  • O.O

  • Vietnam messed up a lot of people after they came back. It was a war that no American soldier ever faced before.
