This was pretty helpful, so don't be too hard on yourself, however; you shouldn't tell people to always have the eye the way it is and that the shape narrows as it reaches the tear duct. Based on expression the eyeball will move, and cause the eyelid and the skin around it to stretch and compress, which changes certain features. That, how narrow the tear duct, or other side of the eye is a great way to emphasize the ethnicity of the subject, as many different races have base eye shapes.

All is very true but quite difficult too articulate in a short period of time. I created this video for beginners (usually the class that I teach- 5th to 7th grade) and I tried to keep the info bite size.

(For my own likes) i did a lot of cleaning up. smudging a bit and darkening the lines around the eyes and just making it look less sketchy but great tutorial helped a bunch but i like drawing manga eyes more :D
