  • This little gem is from the Coronet Lp "The Beetle Beat" by The Buggs. The misspelling was intentional on Coronets part. I previously posted "The Soho Mash (just one look)" by The Buggs.

  • Interesting. So, this actually is The Buggs then? Just One Look is pretty good.. Thanks for the insight.

  • Hah, this is great song, funny too, as my friend Bob just brought me some albums and in there was a Kay Starr sings vol. 2.. we heard it and some of the songs are so hot, very jazzy, sometimes you get really lucky with songs on these budget label "compilations"! This again is a great sounding song! I'm tickled.. lol. oh an Bob liked this 1 too!

  • There are 4 great songs on this album - this one, A Mountain Of A Man (sounds like Ronnie Douglas.. I'll post it) and the two F.V. and The Romans tracks. I think this song was something that was already released and Coronet "borrowed" for the album

I think Coronet was owned by Synthetic Plastics in Newark, although there's nothing listed on the record that would indicate that. They probably did that intentionally to avoid getting caught (this is almost certainly a bootleg).

  • @PJDooWop They were owned by Premier Albums Inc. also they owned the label Spin-o-rama.

  • i still haqve coma si bella on a 45 scratched, but nice

  • Come Si Bella's a great record. I posted the flip "This Is Real" a few months ago

  • This is Real is really good also
