The homeless people are usually NOT worth helping. I know them all...Raffy, Survivor, Christain, Julia, Mike Trotter, Clyde, Scooby, Pirate, Karms, etc., etc., etc and the assholes who enable them like Donna (before she had to move away), Jeff Mulkern, St. Athanasius Church, etc., etc., etc

Only two ways for you to know all these people: You're one of the "enablers," or you're one of the homeless. Psychology teaches that when we condemn a group of people, it is we who have the problem. Examine yourself.

You are wrong in this case (neither enabler or homeless) and although it sounds like a nice singy-songy gift-wrapped conclusion you are a pseudo intellectual because of the fact that you are coming to conclusions without asking any questions. During this perpetual bad economy the only live-in nursing job I could get was taking care of a quadroplegic who was constantly inviting these homeless assholes over and use the place for a hang-out as long as they provided a joint and/or booze..
