  • Her acting is over-the-top; her histrionics paint the picture of a spineless and dithering ruler. I think John Alexander's Essex has poise makes complete sense with the thrust of the plot / in trying to analyze his relationship with Elizabeth.

  • less is more, less is more, less is more, less is more, less is more

  • Beverly was the ultimate singing actress and she doesn't disappoint here! Brava la Fenomena!!

  • I love how she's acting circles around the guys on stage and they just stand there and bark...silly.

  • Brava Beverly.

  • That bitch slap was AMAZING! And she is still ALL QUEEN AND REGAL. Amazing woman!

  • I didn't know Beverly Sills could sing that dramatically

  • @raigekimaru She held nothing back when she was acting, and she admitted it played a part in her voice not lasting as long as it might have; but how wonderful she was. I was fortunate enough to see her twice, in Traviata and Lucia.

  • Brava~! Thanks for the post ^_^

  • So GREAT to see John Alexander! Thank you!
