My father gave me this single - I think it was 1964. Back then i liked it but i did not appeciate it as much as I do now. CB:s version is the best even though i think the original is good too.

I will always be grateful to Chris Barber for introducing me to this Sidney Bechet classic when I saw Chris & his band. I adore Bechet's version (which was hard to track down), but Chris' version will always hold a place in my heart because he introduced me to it, and it is played so well.
