well they would still have the potential energy from coming out of the barrel so they would for the most part go forward because theres no air friction but if they hit rocks they would bounce around forever

I didn't like the sounds.I know a shooter with no gunshot sounds would be stupid,but they could at least make them a bit more quiet...looks kinda unrealistic

@Liquid39 - it'll fly with the spped it left the muzzle (basically) since there is no friction. The only thing changing its' path would be gravity field of the neighbour objects.

And BTW - you need an oxygen to begin explosion inside the brass ;)

@Liquid39 Why wouldn't it fly? there is no air in space so every thing moves tentimes more faster in vacume. they tried to swing a flag in vacume in mythbusters and the stopping took 5 seconds more than in air because there is nothing forcing it to slowdown.

Vacums have no air.

Air is required to make sparks or fire.

The explosion of the gunpowder is used to propell the bullet.

Explosions require air.

@Liquid39 when they were manufacturing the bullets for the weapons (i know its a game, im just saying this), they were made in a place which had air/oxygen, oxygen gets trapped in the casing, oygen + explosive = bang, that's whats hard to understand....

Because there is no force pulling it to the ground,it actually flies longer than in gravity.The only problem is that it slows down at longer distance.

@MrKrystian1992 The sun makes so much light you can see it from hardly anywhere, but, it is so far away, that if it were behind the camera you wouldn't see it.

Keep in mind space is MOSTLY empty space. The closeness of planets and other stuff that we see when looking at diagrams is only to make things simpler. In reality, when we zoom out on earth and the moon, I don't think we'd see much else out there for quite a while....

i got given a free pass for 3 days on steam from a mate (as you do!) so i decided to give it a try. it is a sick game....as far as i can tell. my computer isnt good enough to play it smoothly, so for the first hour playing it, i was just going into the game and getting shot instantly. good fun tho!

well the game takes place in the shattered remains of the moon. It is a very large level. Plus i think the weopon thing is that it is the only weapn that would work well in space. But i dont know for sure because i cant get my game to work.

Lol, oh man if this were on Xbox it wouldn't be the same game, take COD 4 for example, one of the best pc online shooters so infinity ward's like we'll release MW2 because the first one was so successful. And they did and on the box for the pc version it said "and the return of the definitive multiplayer...". They took out lean, and put in lobbies and took out dedicated servers and they made it so you had to be rank 20 or higher to play hardcore. All because of consoles and what they can't do.

@Mr0dessa i dont kno what u been reading but its called an upgrade, or for the PC a downgrade. Xbox and PS3 are good as PC but people think PC is better cuz it cost more to keep up with next-gen consoles/games. my point is cost = not always better.

@MindTrixx1 I'm sorry to burst your bubble dude, but consoles can't do what pcs can do. I don't really see how taking out dedicated servers is an upgrade, or lean. It's just that consoles can't host dedicated servers and don't have the buttons to lean. Consoles are good for some games, but in the end pcs are better overall. Pcs can play the really old classics that consoles can't and the intense RTSs too, which in most cases is what most people want and you don't need a good pc to play.

RTSs R real easy to play on consoles the only reason consoles dont have many is becuz RTSs were ment to be played on the PC (thats y halo wars failed). consoles ensure a steady 30-60+ FPS and are safer to buy. the only thing the PC might be better at is EYE CANDY whitch alot of people dont care about, they care about preformance.

@MindTrixx1 Its called turning down the graphics. If you want performance on a pc you can just put the settings on low with a rubbish res of 1280 x 720 or 720p on consoles, the game will look the same on low as it would normally on a console. RTSs as you said are supposed to be played on pc meaning thats something else consoles can't do (try to imagine starcraft on a console). We could also look at MMORPGs like WoW, consoles can't do them either. Your product is shit and nobody wants to buy.
