You guys are great. For those of you that had any poor words for KD and KT, read a cook book and see if It is that entertaining. Also, if you think kitchens are quiet, you have not been to my Cajun kitchen. We make it different, but everyone does have their own style. And I am sure it I tasty...I gaaaarrrontee.
We're not all hard asses but I agree, soulfoodpet needs to lighten up. This is different from my family's recipe but most of Prudhomme's stuff is. Every Cajun family cooks a little differently. These kids are having fun and learning to cook too -- awesome job guys! I am also flattered that you guys appreciate my culture enough to explore it a little bit. Thanks!

Second of all, even if I was trying to learn how to cook an etouffee, I would be too distracted by the guitar to catch the recipe.
If you plan on giving a lesson, know the subject and don't distract away from it. Sure it was interesting, but instead of compensating with a guitar, use your enthusiasm for the love of food. if you would like any cooking advice... shoot

etouffee should start with a roux. I like a peanut butter brown color for shrimp etouffee. I loved the whisk cam. Wisk on excellent.
