I just got a puppy. He's about 11 weeks old and I'm feeding him as much raw veggie and fruit as I can right now along with the kibble, until I find a reliable source for raw meat. I am wondering what your opinion is on the shots.
@angelbe88 That's not nearly as bad as what they put in kibble. The meat from a butcher will be better than grocery store meat, but grocery store meat is far better than processed kibble. Or canned dog food.
@angelbe88: It's illegal in America and Canada to process meat that has hormones or antibiotics in it. Whatever medications that the meat animals eat are withdrawn before the slaughter date so that it can passed beforehand.
Do you by chance have a site you can direct me to with recipes on what part of meat I should get such as organs, bones and how much to feed him, ettc.?
I love your video!! I have a raw fed chihuahua pup that I started feeding raw since she was 8 weeks old. I am just glad to see there are others who recognize that we must feed a species appropriate meals to our furkids!!!!
I've owned dogs all my life, I've always fed them dry kibble. They grew up healthy, engetic and lived long lives.

@angelbe88 You can get the meat at a butcher shop or at your local grocery store. Doesn't matter.

They would have to stop the medications pretty early because as you know toxins don't just leave the body right away.
