i did not say this sucked! i know these bikes go faster than motocross but there is just more extereme stuff in motocross. i have tried this i have tried supermoto and my favorite endurocross.

i mea hell travis pastrana pro motocrosser and freestyle rider first person to do the double back flip said this style was fun but just wasnt something he could get into.

i didnt say it isnt extreme. i just dont like going in circles it would get old fast to me and i dont do freestyle just supermoto and enduro and a little normal motocross. you want to know something else i drift into corners on any race and it confuses other racers becouse they cant hit the coner the same way.

I don't race motorcycles but I enjoy all dirt circle track racing, and race stock cars on dirt. I can tell you it is intense running in a pack of cars in a corner, you're going as fast as you can but there's others who are going to be going right by you the second you go easy. It is intense.. the g-forces, the speed, everything... or at least it was at first now I got used to it but I'd imagine it's like anything else you do repeatedly. I'm sure motorcrossers freak out the first time too.

Where did this sport go? I grew up watching the San Jose Mile every year, and Bubba Shobert was my hero. F'in AMA can't get its head out of its ass far enough to see that this is the motorcycle worlds answer to NASCAR. This sport should be huge...instead it's been dying a slow death for the past two decades. :(

45hp - you are years out of date. 75hp minimum in a bike weighing 200lbs will always out accelerate your flat track bikes. As for speeds you are comparing mile tracks to Speedway - compare short track speeds! Both sports are great and not so different.

Cabritorss - No flat track bike makes 130 hp (at least none that runs good); top Harleys make 95-105 hp.

Hookyh - I don't think it's a done deal that a 75 hp single in a 200lb bike is going to "always" out accelerate a 100 hp twin in a 300lb bike. Pretty close call!
