pretty much, I spent about 2 years in traditional full contact karate before I move to straight kickboxing and then mma but as far as traditional ma dojos go. I'd guess about 80% aren't legit. We're starting to see it with mma gyms in some places. Traditional tma guys will switch their gyms to mma cuz it's popular and claim to have fought "underground" or "overseas" yet have no pro record and we all know underground is USUALLY code word for imaginery or made up.

That dude is what we call a text book Martial artist. Not saying Level cant fight he has good hands for a street fighter. But you put a really Martial artiest in there that's not scared to get hit and has fought before then Level is gonna have his hands full. Homeboy gave up anyway felt that power and got shook. @stringray13 Text book means that he thinks cause he went to karate classes or pick a kung fu mag up he's a master. Most these classes people see in malls they ain't real MA schools they just there to take your money. They do forms all day couple of push ups and barley spar and never fight. So when they get hit by a real ni99a trying to take your head off they get shook. Like homeboy.

pretty much, I spent about 2 years in traditional full contact karate before I move to straight kickboxing and then mma but as far as traditional ma dojos go. I'd guess about 80% aren't legit. We're starting to see it with mma gyms in some places. Traditional tma guys will switch their gyms to mma cuz it's popular and claim to have fought "underground" or "overseas" yet have no pro record and we all know underground is USUALLY code word for imaginery or made up.

na man depends what kung fu. If u got wushu or wing chun then most of the time u half contact with no gloves then full with gloves. Depends on your sifu. Personally i wouldnt know bout karate but ur right kyokoshing karate dont puch to the head but they kick though
