  • It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses

    Hit it........

  • I want that cool drummer from the movie!

    Liked his cap.

  • Jim sure ain't John.

  • waaaiitt is that Accoriding to Jim jim??

  • this is jim belushi

  • does anybody have more videos from this concert?

  • the reason the original blues bros and band were so great is that heavy hittin horn section.....they were using a lot of alto and great great rythm......guitars and drums alone aint gonna sound as good

  • wooooh!

  • @auntbecky that's messed up, even he did do that, I'm not saying he didn't, but he is dead. You just don't talk of the desceased that way.

  • @2112murphy no, i like no one better when they're strung out.

  • lol. nice to see some cool white boys gettimg there funk on old school way better than all these stupid ass rappers and all these diva bitches or these little pussies like little beaver !!!!! aka bieber

  • O Jim e o John eram gordinhos... kkk

  • Pathetic.

  • Great guitar playing, Matt !

  • Jim belushi it sucks

He uses his brother's death to getting more success, fame and attention

    Real shame

He's never going to replace his brother John.

  • @21SCMTs <3 your response.

  • @21SCMTs He never wanted to and never meant to. he's a completely different type of person and that's ok. John was an ass anyway. Treated women like dirt.

  • @auntbecky Apparently you don't have a good ear and taste for good music, and besides, women are trash.

Early he realized that the evolutionary purpose of women is to arouse men, not castrate them.

  • hell yea baby cant get nun better than the windy city man my home town chicago

  • Wow!!! What a feelin' by mr. Murphy

  • 16 people are Illinois Nazis.

  • I don't think this should have happened...At least with Jim and Goodman. John Belushi actually had a great voice. They should have John Popper of Blues Traveler fill in for Jake Blues...Believe that would have been a bit more legit considering the band itself is made up of truly great musicians. Popper has an extremely strong and powerful voice, but he's have to tone down his harmonica playing to not show up Elwood. Just my opinion.

  • @mjbab73 What is done is done but you know Jim refused to play Jake right (2000 we won't bring up). I though Goodman did alright with his friends in a shit movie. I enjoyed it because it had the complete band. I would have been pissed off if Guitar Murphy etc weren't in it but hell if these guys come to my town I would buy a thousand seats just to make sure I had a good one with my dad!

  • @gnarkillkicksass I was happy that the band reformed, I just don't believe a movies should have been made. Btw, Jim was never offered to play 'Jake'...Never.

  • x q esta musica a desaparecido :(

  • "I see my brother Jake coming through that platform...!" R.I.P. John Belushi...

  • Brilliant tribute. They miss John Belushi but still great band.

°_O......! peace.

  • E7 - A7 - B7 , simple but very efficient ... I like this song :-)

  • 15 people don't like the good music... ¬¬

  • This is not original band. You can see Jim Belushi and John Goodman

  • @johanson61 only for the stupid individuals in this world...

  • @johanson61 Yes I noticed that too. I think it was due to the fact John Belushi has an ongoing appointment with Death.

  • has anybody heard when the 3rd chapter of the blues brothers movie will be released? it won't be the same without jake but....this is where i need to go, back to my hometown

  • @jw12061 Um, there isn't one.

  • has anybody heard when the 3rd chapter of the blues brothers movie will be released? it won't be the same without jake but....

  • Pop is for white people, rap is for black. Jazz is for black people, rock is for white people, and it goes on. But Blues is for everyone :)

  • @DKMoonwalker Music is music. People are people. Music isn't strictly enforced to whom or what we are. Music, and I mean any music, welcomes all. But hey, just to thought to let you know.

  • @soullover123456 Well, theese are just the "stereotypes" of who listens to what, and blues is on off the few genres that dosen't have a stereotypical listener. Don't get all big with your words, it dosen't have to oh so fucking serious all the time xD

  • @DKMoonwalker Oh, ha ha. Sorry that I misunderstood your comment. Usually, I would just ignore it but at first l kind of reacted to your comment like, "What is he talking about?!" As of myself, I violate all those stereotypes, so that is why I got all cooky on that. x3

I totally know what you mean now and I definitely see what you mean.

Once again, sorry about the whole blow out on that. :)

Hope everything's cool and good with the blues now. =3

  • @soullover123456 It's all cool :) Thnx for uploading :)

  • I'm sorry Jim, it was a nice try though.

  • I can hear them live , and simply die in peace after that... :(

  • Please check out my Bands cover, I hope you think we have done it justice.

  • omfg I didnt knew James Belushi was the brother of John !!! WTF I love that Belushi family ! their all awesome

  • James bellucci, Dan Ayrcrod y jonh Goodman... Grandes Blus Brothers!!!!!!!!!

  • its Fred Flinstone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unreal

  • @crypticmantistx55 Jake wasn't in blues brothers 2000 cause Jim Belushi died.

  • @MrZedthezombie jims not dead its john that was in blues brothers and died.

  • @imooreory although we all wish Jim died instead

  • @peterpansie5 WTF?

  • @peterpansie5 Seriously.

  • i got a poster signed by matt

  • According to Jim this song is really good

  • I love this song

This is better in real life or on the movie

  • I love this song

  • My band is playing at a festival this saturday, with brian johnson (AC/DC singer) and other bands plus Donald duck dunn will be there playing for some set, but the man who is hosting the festival said sincei play bass and truly thinks my bass playing is something hes never seen before and its really good he said he really wants to introduce me to donald duck dunn and have him take me under his wing, considering im only 17 theres so much to learn, but its so sick im meeting donald duck dunn!!

  • Great song by legendary Blues Brothers Band and mythical HAMMOND organ B3 with fabulus player LEON PENDARVIS !

  • nothin like the original they can never get that sound back no one could ever be as good as john

  • one or two more lessons and matt guitar murphy will be an alright player lol, damn he's good

  • love it!

  • that´s james belushi? yeah

  • Feels (john)Goodman

  • where's willy hall? or murph?

  • If you hit dislike on this video you need to be shot.

  • this is a robert johnson song

  • jake blues died with john belushi, anyone who tries to fill in for him will never quite be like john...

  • not the same. good, but not the same.

  • 56 secs in, think the drummer thought it was time to stop, but the band played on! Nice to know the pros can make a booboo too!

  • Jeez....I wish they could have gotten Jim Belushi for Blues Brothers 2000. Zee is a way better replacement for Jake's spot than Mighty Mack.

Do the Blues Brothers still do performances or not?

  • @CrypticMantisTX55 Hell ya! Dan Aykroyd can even be seen as bouncer at House of Blues in Chicago!!! :)

  • one of my all time favorite movies the blues brothers and i love CHICAGO GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • Dan Akroyd and Matt 'Guitar' Murphy... Only members of the original blues brothers... >.< (Unless they managed to pull Mr Fabulous, Donald 'Duck' Dunn and the others to play... And didn't mention them...

It's good... But there's... Just something missing from this version.

  • @Fizwalker If you watch closely that is Steve "The Colonel" Cropper on rhythm guitar and Donald "Duck" Dunn on bass. Not looking to correct you or start a bunch of kid

s&!t just want to make sure these underappreciated and sometimes forgotten players get the recognition they deserve

  • @weshod It's good. Afraid I still have their faces from the movie stuck in my mind.... Glad they could make it tho!

  • This is great stuff. My band covers this song - Just type in Electric Loveland into youtube and it will come up. Hope you like our band.

  • elwood is holding his own really good but the other two cant add up to brothe jake :D

  • I'm sorry but Jim doesn't sound like John though i really like the Belushi brothers.

  • John Goodman is a disgrace to this band!

  • @easytalkcafe THATS RIGHT John goodman sucks !! Jim is way better

  • Great blues, no need to compare, never good to do that, great in its own right and thanks for the recording!

  • Lardo John Goodman????????? WTF? Go back to Roseanne, and leave the music the real guys!!

  • class if teh yever come to cork i'm gonan see them

  • Jim Belushi is one of the biggest asses in the world. My dad met him because my dad had a business where he loaned people his organ. He loaned his organ to Jim's band and said he was so rude it was unbelievable. Yelling in peoples faces, and he kept referring to The Blues Brothers as "that other band." Ah well, the music is still great.

  • @ShuguProductions then u should know his name is James!

  • Guess its a middle age guy thing....I'm 49 myself gettin a bit hefty, but hey, grew up with these ol' boys......b. bros movie, m.g.'s, the roseanne show...think I'll have another wish sandwich

  • Dan was way better skinny, his personality was so different, and its not the same without the original. but all the same, its music, and it takes me back to watching those movies over and over.

  • wonderful

  • "Duck" was Donald Dunn's nickname, Steve was "the Colonel" Cropper

  • John Goodman...u rock man!!!!!

  • man... The Blues Bros are awesome... and Jim....ur an amazing singer as well...

  • 1:41

What happened to Steve Cropper?! He's all swollen up in his face (and very heavy), and he's got no hair?!!
