Nicely done! Thanks for posting! I liked the notes you added in the opening. The tempo was fine. Some performers play it too fast (for show), which detracts from the music.

Lovely tempo choice, because I think there is roll recording played by ... George Gerswhin himself, very near to this, especially where she begins at 42 secs., almost identical if memory serves. Nicely done and entirely pleasant!

It was in a competition. Can't you see the judges sitting there writing things during the song? You aren't allowed to clap in *almost* all piano competitions :P

i am really angry with this piece right now im in seventh grade and i have to play it for my school basically tomorow because i havent been practicin enough so i gotta get it good by tomorow im havin alot of trouble with like the 9th measure when the left hand chords come in i don't know why i just hesitate and my teacher will give me bad grade he grades pretty tight

Try to make your left hand go faster than your right and it will go together. Also slow it down until you have them both together then slowly speed them up. Hey, be proud of yourself. You're a 7th grader playing a very difficult piece. When I was in seventh grade it was my second year playing and I sounded like crap! I'm in 11th grade now and working on the same piece as you. Youre teacher needs to lighten up.

i can play this piece but the sound is out of time with the video. She starts playing but there is no sound for another few seconds.
