should i get the dervish or the tan tien? i mostly wanna do some relaxed cruising and sliding, and some pumping. im might learn a few tricks but i'd rather carve.
hey, I just got my tan tien. I bought flex 2 cos i like it to be flexy and all. i'm really happy with it. Its the best board i rode til today I just have to swap my shitty wheels for some o'tangs and it will be ready for damage. thanks for the tips dude.
hi jeffzz i'm thinking about getting a new loaded board. Which one would you recomend for sliding, pumping and some downhill too, the tan tien or dervish? Also what flex i weight 80kg
@antoniov2402 Id go with the Tan Tien and get the 86a duro freeride orantangs those wheels are harder enough to do some sliding, and as for flex im not sure what 80 kgs is in pounds but they have the weights listed on the loaded website to suite your proper flex
@Jeffzz893 I believe 80kg would me something like 170 pounds. I think that would be a flex 2 according to the website. Will i be able to pump a tan tien flex 2 on flatland all right?
whats the difference from the adam colton 180s and the randal R-ll 180s.Also whats the difference from the abec 7 bearings and the powell bones swiss bearings.
@MrKevin671 No diference with the trucks its just Adam Coltons monster design on the trucks, and basically for bearings the better/more you pay the faster and smoother ride you get
@MrKevin671 I got the adam colton paris 180's. with Orangatang Stimulus Freeride 70mm 86a Yellow. and ABEC 7 bearings. Flex 1.
I built my setup for all around skating pretty much, the 86a wheels give off a strong clean check slide, and they grip when you suck the check slide back in.
@MrKevin671 I ordered mine from Daddies boards shop, however the orders are delayed, Mine was scheduled to ship out to day when I ordered it, but I think its now delayed till May 15th. They have them up on loadeds website but again, there out of stock at the moment.
im going to longboard that spot tomorrow after 12:00

@antoniov2402 I would go with the flex 1 I have both the flex 1 and 2 on the dervish and Im 160 and the flex 2 is way to flexy for me.
Jeffzz893 1 year ago
im 5,4 is the tan tien to big for me
MrKevin671 1 year ago
@MrKevin671 they make different flex's depending on your weight and the board is 39" its about 3" smaller than the dervish
Jeffzz893 1 year ago
@MrKevin671 The Tan tien is actually 3 inches smaller than the dervish so as far as length you will be fine.

MrKevin671 1 year ago
@MrKevin671 Its delayed because its a new board that is still being manufactured. And yes Daddies board shop is a very reputable site.
