Thanks for your feedback VK and posting my Video response. It sounds depressing ' Trauma Survivors n Overcomers' but it is the way the Lord often glorifies us in Him- though it is not fun at the time lol- Yikes! Agape sis- Rebecca
However, I wouldn't say God had anything to do with your recovery, beyond your faith, which does appear to work health miracles at times in people's lives. The placebo effect is incredible, although I do not fully understand how it works at present.
If God chose you to survive the accident & chose not to save the lives of many other believers involved in daily accidents, his sense of mercy seems arbitrary.
Many children raised in covenant homes can honestly say that they never remember a time when they did not love Jesus. Many even go through their teenager years living faithful, godly lives. Why do we require of them a dramatic conversion experience? It only makes them question their faith.
Often times, for people who have been walking with Christ from a very young age, the testimony comes not in the life they lived before Christ, but rather in the struggles with sin that they have survived during their walk. I was saved when I was 9, but have faced great struggles and temptations throughout the years. The fact that I remain in Christ in spite of all that, is a testimony, not of me, but rather of him.
Good vid (( VK)) You're actually the only christian i've ever met who's 'walked the walk and talked the talk' of John 13:34-35 to this heathen, And, did Paul ever receive an answer to all that correspondence? ;-)
This is a powerful, profound and touchingly beautiful message Violet. In going through several of your videos I relies just how many people must have been helped and touched by them. I do hope you continue to make them always. You have touched my heart today. You are precious and beautiful. 5***** new subscriber.
Thank you VK. Thank you for reminding me that no matter what trials we are going through, Jesus will always be there to carry us through as we learn to trust him and our faith grows stronger. He never said it would be easy. He only says it will be sooo worth it. Thank you again. You are a blessing.
Lily my dear sweet sister, your life is a testimony from the Father . His grace is enough. The hardships we have are tailored made for us. Yours glorifys him. He holds you in his hands and when you thik you can't take another step He has made it for you Your a living example of Grace. I love you, Sister thank you so much for this.
...Through suffering you really do draw closer to him...and you thought god didn't love you or those you know when bad things happened to them or you...he does, you just have to trust in him and you will know. nobody can explain it t o you really you have to experience it but ill warn you its a tough journey but well worth it.
I really understand vk..i feel very similar and know even though Ive had what people would consider horrible things that happened to me..god has used them for me. I know I'm a better person because of these things and closer to god which is the most important. I cringe at the thought if these things had not happened the route i would have possibly taken. .
Your testimony was not boring at all. It was beautiful, encouraging, and sincere. Thus it was just as it is supposed to be.
"But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint". (Isaiah 40:31 NKJV)
Amen VK!!!! You have nothing to be sorry for. What a beautiful testimony!!!! It is always refreshing to hear such pure heart-felt words coming from a fellow believer of Christ. God Bless!!!
This is so beautiful so strong and uplifting sis, we all have different testimonys, this is so awesome. Jesus came died and loves each of us where we are. The part you spoke of Paul is so good. Its a beautiful testimony.
You are one of the true bright lights here on Tube.
I was saved at the age of nine. I have had to grow as a christian from that time with ups and downs. I certainly cannot remember my moment of salvation because that was long ago. I honestly don't think that the moment of salvation is that important. What is important is what we do with our salvation. In truth, our testimony is how we use His mercy, not the moment we are saved. Good video and so true. Thanks for the blessing :o)
I really should reword part of my comment...I don't feel that the moment of salvation is as important as what we do with our salvation. I do think it is important, but I feel that our actions after that moment is the most important :o)
That's so true...those of us who accepted Christ as a child had to "grow up" to fully comprehend the meaning of our salvation. I have an 8 year old daughter. She doesn't quite know how to behave like "the perfect" daughter...all the time, but she's still my daughter. When she gets older, if we're close, she'll understand the nature of our relationship better. Right on!!!
VK, I am telling you, do not be jealous of someone who finds their faith later in life. It is the worst spiritual struggle when you had been raised with very little Christian values and upbringing. Especially when you are born again at a time when you thought you had your life together.
My life...was so hard and I was very lost. I am still lost, but not nearly as lost as I was before. But I suffer because I hate change.
She was right, YOU are not boring. Even though your life may be, think about all the people that went through, they wish/ed their lives were boring. Count it a blessing, sis:)
after my gran passed away i sufferd from anxiety and depression,i had to take a month off work and i was at the lowest point i had ever been.i lost contact with freinds and became a recluse .i prayed to god and asked for a freind, about 2 months later i was walking around town and met my best freind from school, someone who i had not seen in years.
VK, I think that there are those who by quantitative comparison would seem nearly holy to others, however, I think God wants us to see ourselves as equally unworthy. Or even still our power to have been cleaner than others is given by the Lord and not to be gloried in ourselves.
That subjective yet true impression we have of our Lord by our own walk that no other can take away is a familiar thing I see in you though.
Thank you for sharing. Anyone who loves Jesus, I love as well.
This is an awesome Testimony VK. I know a 9 year old boy who gave his life to Christ when he was 5. It's nice to meet people who gave their lives to Christ from young.
AWESOME TESTIMONY VK!!!!!!! You have a wonderfully powerful testimony. Very powerful - and it is obvious you also have a very REAL walk and relationship with our Messiah. Thank you so much for posting this. It will encourage and strengthen many! :o) 100star
It's very powerful o.o; I get the feeling if I had been through what you have, I'd question my place in this world far more than I do. I'm just happy you've found a place you feel content with, and can be happy with.

And you're right, the fact that He defines you is exciting!

He has many utensils of gold and silver for His use. He uses them for His purpose, no matter the testimony.
