  • And you wonder why all these guys were busts. You have Matt Leinart and VY pretending to be movie stars instead of football players.

  • I wish my Raiders had ended up drafting Kamerion Wimbley like Al wanted to, maybe then our 2006 season wouldn't have been so disastrous

  • Clearly humble prospects...

  • I remember when I first saw this live. I was at my buddy's, nursing one of the worst hangovers of my life and frankly still a little drunk, and had just smoked a big day-after recovery dubie. I literally was wondering if this was all in my head at one point, it was so ridiculous. I've never seen anything like this before or since. Just goes to show you how hyped this draft was, and thus how massive busts most of em are (save for Mario and to an extent Reggie).

  • Damn, all of the players with the most hype have underperformed. Leinart is a bust. Young isn't a good passer and has thin skin, and Bush never became a star. He's just a role player. Everyone killed the Mario Williams pick, but he ended up being better than those 3 players combined.

  • REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE-crowd

  • Matt Leinart Looks Like Cyclops, Haha!

  • Well...if Leinart cannot find a team this season, we know he can come out in The Matrix 4, then start his career in acting haha.

  • I might sound crazy, but I think Leinart still has hope. He just needs the right team and coach...same with Young, except Young needs to quit his drama queen routine.

  • @thundersnake1 I'm not so sure about Leinart. It's not like he hasn't been given a chance. Just like Alex Smith, some players can adjust to the pro level, others can't. Young can still be a quality starter if he can get his life back together. But he's no Vick.

  • Pretty epic opening

  • Hahaha they all suck now.

  • @dynomike15 Not Mario Williams or Michael Huff

  • Whats the song it sounds like a remix of Lets Go by trick daddy??

  • @Ian52093 Ya this came out when Let's Go was huge too, I remember thinking the same thing at first. It's actually just a juiced up, bassed up remix to ESPN's MNF theme.

  • BUsh was excellent this yard. he help lead them to the super bowl.

vince young won rookie of the year. & makes incredible

Mario Williams is proven him self he'll be better than jarred alle & demarcus ware

Matt Lienart is about to show the world what he can do.

Michael Huff is eventually gonna get chance

  • @kalinbright1 Bush isn't what ppl at this point thought he'd be, but I certainly wouldn't call him a bust either(which implies they can't play at the NFL level). Great secondary weapon. Unbelieveably athletic.

Vince Young's had an up and down career. Right now its looking up, we'll see what happens in '10. Mario's a surefire star. Def the right choice @ #1. Leinart was just replaced by Derek Anderson as starter of the Cards. Bust. Huff=bust.

Extremely overrated draft(I bought in too).

  • Hey Matt Leinart, how much does clothes cost in the Matrix?

  • As time would prove, Reggie Bush turned out to be the most "franchise" player among them....so much for the opinion of nhoward77 and spurs2k6...that's what I love about time - it always proves many to be filled with bs.

Oh, did I mention Reggie is the only one in that group that has a Super Bowl ring?

  • @guyfroml Reggie Bush really had nothing to do with them getting the ring, they could've done it with or without him. It was all Drew Brees and your D. BTW, got lucky with the miscommunication with the last seconds in the Minnesota Game anyways

  • @TheChamp531 lame ass excuse maker

  • @guyfroml Arguing a championship to prove someone's not a bust is a bad argument and probably the best way to prove that is with Darko Miličić as he has more championships than Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Carmelo Anthony combined.

(P.S. Joesph Addai and Maruice Jones-Drew are better players and were taken later)

  • @guyfroml are you kidding me? reggie bush is a bust, he didn't have shit to do with that SB, it was ALL drew brees and those turnovers the defense made. mario williams definatly turned out to be by far the best player out of those 5. VY is questionable. hes a winner for sure. matt lineart is iffy, can't blame him for NOT getting the job over HOF kurt warner just hasn't done shit. and michael huff is good, not great just good. williams however is emerging as a top DE in the league

  • @VYFTW10 if bush is such a bust then why do the SB champ saints suck so much the moment he gets hurt, i know Pierre is hurt too but who's gonna get them all that feild postion they had last year when Bush is gone. and also if you think bush is such a bust, watch that NFC divisional game against the cards NO bust can do that

  • @DaBlackGoku17 are you serious? do you know what a bust is? its a player that doesn't live up to the potential of that pick. i never said bush didn't make plays or have A FEW decent games. it doesn't mean he isn't a bust. If having a good game makes them not a bust then i bet russell was a solid pick for the raiders. And the saints don't suck so much atm. they aren't that great of a team, they had ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD last year and no one can repeat it, so now you see the real saints.

  • @VYFTW10 no you got it wrong, a bust is someone that can't play in the NFL, like Ryan Leaf, Bush defintley can explode through holes like everyone said he just isn't an every down back. but the truth of the matter is that he wasn't really and every down back in college either, he and LenDale White shared the backfeild just like Bush and Duce as well as Bush and Thomas.

  • @DaBlackGoku17 he's a bust. if you draft a Rb #2 overall he is suppose to be an annual pro bowler racked in at least 1200 yards a season. bush can't manage half of that and he can't stay healthy. he is a good scat back but not a back WORTHY of the #2 overall pick, hence making him a bust.

  • @VYFTW10 well i don't think he's a bust, if he can score TDs in the NFL and still be utilized as a special teams maker and a runningback then he has a place in the NFL

  • @DaBlackGoku17 that was what i was saying you didn't understand what a "bust" was. His performance this far has no been one of a quality 2nd overall pick. he should be a top 10 back atm but hes not at all. he defiantly has a place and value in the league but not one of a 2nd overall pick, making him a bust. Alex Smith of the niners still has a place in the NFL, it doesn't mean he wasn't a bust.

  • @VYFTW10 Both Bush and A. Smith are busts imo. As for Bush, it's already been 5 years into his career and he's been nothing more than a 3rd string back and punt returner -- and lose his starting job to two undrafted running backs. Bush is lucky in a sense that he still has some value for his speed. But if he averages 10 touches per game, he'll likely play for only 8 games at most because he's so fragile compare to other backs.

  • @DaBlackGoku17 do you honestly think if bush was healthy the saints would be a much improved team? get real dude. there were some cool statistics i saw a few weeks ago that showed the saints actually had a HIGHER yards per game average when bush didn't play.

  • reggie not looking like a bust now

  • @nawlins08 ahh yeah he still is a bust.

  • @nawlins08 He is still a bust. You got at least #30 talent for a #2 pick.

  • Michael Huff was one of the best safeties in the NFL last year. he's not a bust

  • tennessee titans rule

  • It's funny now but to me that seemed like one of the most hyped up drafts in a while. Out of the names mentioned: Vince Young, Michael Huff, Matt Leinhart, Reggie Bush, and Mario Williams, only Williams has proven to be a consistent starter. Leihart is a backup, Reggie has injury problems and has trouble adjusting to the NFL, Vince had his breakdown and Huff is fighting for a starting spot with the Raiders. Everybody bashed Houston for picking Williams but in the end they made a smart move.

  • @nhoward77

Well it looks like VY took his pills this year. But I get tyour point though

  • @nhoward77 Are you a dumbass? I see Vince Young owning Mario Williams and the entire Texans D every time they play each other.

  • @nhoward77 yeah I know. It seems like Williams did deserve the #1 pick after all.

  • @SSj5Alan Yeah to Badd he with a disfunctional team with the texans SMH!!!!!

  • does anybody know the song when the players start walking out

  • Ha Ha that boy Mario Williams i a beast VY is bust and so is Leinart

    Reggie Bush is Average!!

    Texans All the way!!

  • Bush tore it up in New Orleans!

  • bush= all hype and bust. Heres a guy that avg under 3 yards per carry. hes a gadget player. hes not barry sanders like all these dumb espn fanboys anchors were saying. hes not an all purpose back.top that with him looking to be injury prone, and you have an overrated player that was GR8 at the college level, but cant compete the in the pros on the same level.

  • @spurs2k6 Glad they didn't take jones-drew, go jags :)

  • The introduction is far too ostentatious.

And no one could have expected that Mario Williams would be the best pick out of the top 5 players presented in this introduction. Whatever happened to Leinart, Bush, and Young?
