I have been an Android user for the last year and have not stayed up to date with Cydia's changelog. Also, even if i was inherently wrong even at the time the video was created, greeting me with "hey dumbshit" is quite rude.

i know this vid says tht icy isnt a main alternative but i downloaded icy and rock in addition to cydia which i already had and i actually still prefer cydia...sure, it is incredibly slow, but it is straight to the point with no "eye candy" and is easy to use, which is what i like, even tho it might crash evry so often. and so my conclusion is tht cydia, in my opinion is the better app howevr i actuall prefer icy to rock if i had to choose 1

Actually, Cydia isn't that slow now. The installations are quite fast, for me. It can be different for everyone, there are variables on every iPod that can make Rock/Cydia slower.

People knew how to make apps the exact same except free but companies need money. A few of them are lucky enough to create a worthwhile app and get it to the app store. The entire purpose of installous was not simply to pirate software. The purpose of installous was to give users the freedom to try apps before buying them so that they would not waste their money.

Thanks for the vid. ok, Personally, I like Cydia better because its the only way you can get Installous on your Iphone or Ipod touch. You cant get it with Rock. However, Rock has faster download and load speeds and is WAY more stable. I reccomend you just get them both. Thats what I did. DONT get Icy tho, It SUCKS and is WAY unstable!!!
