I remember when a sliver of this song was up on Youtube with the Hokusai Tsunami image. I'd return to it at the bottom of a depression like a compass. These chord changes and that melody embody a North for me, that another soul is just as wet and miserable at the heart that storm they can tell is going to end. And that revelation comes just as the light breaks the storm in half. And you are left on the perfect ocean under the exploding colors of a forgiving sunset. I like finding this in secret

This is the sign of a true musician. He writes a new song, then he plays it. He might never release it but at least it's not hidden behind all the corporate red tape of the record company like with other main stream bands. Most artists seem to have to check the small print to see if they're allowed to play a certain song.
