I thought this was a very good horror film in hindi which is very rare. It was based on bhagat kabir's quote. It had a lesson to learn. Yes the painter thing was taken from heroes, well scene was taken from the ring, as were the buffaloes which were deer in the ring. BUT the story was original. I would put this in a "Ghost story" category. A well told ghost story. I think we should encourage good horror movies, they r very rare n they make u think outside the box. I hope Mahesh Bhatt make more.

They copied the ring effects, the exorcist, and godforsaken which other movies for this one. The movie was overall okay, but nothing original for the horror effects. The songs were good though.

Yaar Safiyy, I think one should not compare. Something are stereotyped to be presented like earlier movies. So, upcoming movies have to present it like that . The point is all things should be coherent and well executed.

Lol did you just call me yaar? [rhetorical ques.] Yes, indeed, Bollywood has horrendous copy righted laws, so I guess the producers get away with whatever they decide to do to their movies. Just because the movie are well executed does not necessarily mean it is justice to other producers. It just seems irrelevant that the directors are plaigerising effects we have seen in other movies....that is in my point.

Music of this film is mindblowing! Songs like "Kaisa Yeh Raaz Hai", "Soniye" and others are gonna be chartbusters. I work at a radio station and recently got a chance to hear the entire album.

i can safely say that Raaz - TMC is definitely a gr8 album to buy.
