M.e. is caused by an overactive hypothamlamus gland. The reason the governement wants people to be ill is because the only cures so far have been talking therapys and ones that work with the mind and body. Some of these treatents can also cure more serious illnesses. Yet the government does now want this! Why? Because the drug companies will lose millions if and when these treatments are accepted as mainstream.

I met a Psychiatrist once and he said to me he doesn't believe in M.E/CFS, what a wanker!!! Hopefully there will be a cure one day, lets hope in time things look up! I used to be so active, I was cycling 50 miles everyday from that ages of 16-20 and a half years of age, now I can only do 10 minutes everyday and if I do 20 minutes I have a massive relapse which is horrendous. The 10 minutes hasn't cured me but it has helped my fatigue a bit.

I'm not getting any audio from any of the CFSAC 2011 videos. All other videos are working normally. Does anyone else have this problem, and found a solution?

Why? Because CFS does not define or describe a neuroimmune disease. Research on "us," "my disease" "our disease?" Who - which one? ME is not CFS. Worrying about homogeneous subsets? Who wants to be a subset of CFS if there is a legitimate diagnosis that applies. If an illness excludes what you have then you do not have that illness. If this is not what you/we have, why spin our wheels rather than work towards proper diagnosis?
