Hello, drawing was one of my favorite freetime during a boring class, I wish I could draw everything I imagine. Do you believe that its never too late to learn drawing ?

Hello, ofcourse it's never to late to start a new hooby. Beginning is very annoying- learning curved and straight lines, ovals and other geometrical figures, shading, shapes of different things... I think that it would took several months to master the basics. But then... You probably will be able to draw almost everything you want :) Important thing is to find own style. Good videos on YT are made by Mr. Mark Crilley and Mr. Jay French. Just search them on YT :) Best regards, Greg

why cant a i find 1 vid, of someone drawing a samurai (NON ANIME) with historicly accurate formal wear....you know the hakama, gi, obi, the daisho in the obi and the saya in the correct posistion (edge up)....i'd reaaaally like to learn to draw that!

Of course I know it. That was just samurai/kenji from Battle Realms game. Maybe I'll draw something in the future with same technique (pencil) or some watercolors or airbrush... But just "maybe" ;) Regards, Greg

Nice job, what pencil did you use?

I used 2B pencil by Czech company Koh-I-Noor. One of the best (and not so expensive) in my opinion. You can also try with Prismacolor, they're really good, american pencils. Regards, Greg

firstly notice how the paper underneath stays perfectly in-line until he finishes the outline.

and people who draw all the detail as they go with no foundations or rough sketch at all, do look alot like they are tracing.

and who is a "real artist"? Tell this to Akira Toriyama (for example). He draws in the same way. Tell it to Stan Lee etc. I belive you know who they are. As i said, my new drawing clip is in making, so be patient please, and then you will judge my drawings and style...

I know cheating when I see it. The bottom paper is the print. The two papers needed to be perfectly aligned for all the lines. You can't see the shading so that's why they didn't have to be aligned when you started shading. Nice tracing skills though.

tak na poważnie to jakieś 4-5 lat (mam 19 teraz) a komiksy itp. rysunkowe rzeczy lubiłem od małego :) (wychowywałem się na komiksach i kreskówkach Marvel'a, DB i wszelakim anime) próbowałem później rysować gapiąc się na różne obrazki a potem przyszło rysowanie z głowy :)

That was very good, you sure are good at drawing, I also like drawing anime but the only thing I can do is replicate an already drawn one by a proper anime artist lol I can easily copy it exactly how it is, but I can never draw one from thin air ^_^ I just can't picture how they stand and where the folds and shading goes. You are very talented, you can draw and I noticed you can speak english and another lang aswell -_^

you sure you didn't just trace this? it looks like you were really trying to keep the paper underneath perfectly still at the beginning. but at the end when you were shading, you didn't need it to be still anymore becuase you were done with the tracing part. change the title to "tracing Kenji"

hey look at that. i did and didnt' even realize it. It's just way to easy to spot this kinda stuff. draw on a harder top. or repost. or draw like a real artist and do shape, form, detail, shading, shading details, then cleanup. not details then shading like a tracer does.
