This is HENRY'S Mom. Yes Debbie founded the Honeybees and asked me to help her since we were friends. She was the head coach & I was assist coach. I helped choreograph some routines but she did most of them and was great at it. There was 1 boy on the team doing gymnastics. Henry was nervous and never meant to hurt anyones feelings. I hope everyone enjoys this tape (thats what its all about). He still loves to dance even now. Proud of him for being himself.

The clip is cute, but what is tragic is the lie that was told to Oprah & AFV. My mother Debbie Mastrianni was the DIRECTOR, FOUNDER, & COACH of the Carswell AFB HoneyBee Drill Team. She also directed another group in Loring AFB, ME. Henry Guerrero mother was NOT the coach and never was. She was simply a parent allowing her daughter, Monica, to participate.
Another lie that was told, was there were boys allowed in the drill team. We had 3 teenagers who danced & did gymnastics with the girls.
@MsItaliangirl33, i'm sorry that your mom didn't get her full credit.. i'm sure that henry was probably told to say this, as it would make better tv.. you, your mom & the Guerrero's should all be proud that you have literally brought joy to the world, whatever the circumstance. your mom's proper credit/ blessings may not have come from this video, but i'm sure that she has received it hundreds of times over, but from a different (& unknown) source. :)

On another note, when we went back to LA for the $100,000, we lost to the baby quads laughing in their mothers arms. They were also on the Oprah show. We were told by the Vinda Bona staf that babies usually win.

I would love to see an interview with all of the girls on that cheer team to see what they thought of Henry and what they are all doing today, including Henry and his mother, if she is still living, and to interview her.
@Drum7line We left Carswell AFT when Henry was about 9 so we pretty much lost touch with the girls. I would love to find just one of the girls. We were called the Carswell Honeybees.
@Drum7line We have lost all touch with them and I am really trying to hunt them down. We were Airforce brats so when we were station somewhere else, we no longer saw them.
