If society dont want to use corpural punishment (the right way) on our children, they will (in general) grow up to believe they can get away with everything and will show no respect at all to (other) adults, authority and so on!! So i truely wish CP would be reinstated today all around the world to be used by adults on children, police on vandalists and such, as (part of) official sentence for all kind of crimes and offenses!!

It surely would help to resolve the increasing need of prisons!!!!!!

CP is by far the best way of punishment and i hate to see how it becomes abolished in so many countries all around the world!!! Since children need to be learned to live to obey rules, it will harm society when punishment is abolished, resulting in people misbehaving, showing no respect at all to police, fireworkers, ambulance-staff and all other authority-figures, demolishing (public) property, performing crimes, vandalism!!

Schools will not be feared as long as it becomes clear to children how to avoid punishment and when to expect it!! Like if the kids has done their homework they wont get punished!! The way CP is administered in this vid is wrong though; the victim should be placed steady (or tied down) before every stroke!!

I was born at Dallas, TX. when I was in elementary we had school corporal punishment.

The Principal hits us with a paddle many times.

This has effected me in many ways. I never told my parents until I was 17yrs old, and I am 27 now.

Okay, so let me get this straight: In today's society (at least here in America), parents can go to jail if they spank their children in public or even in some states in their own homes, and child daycare workers could get fired if they hit the kids. School is a place of learning and no kid can expect it to be all fun just as work can't be all fun. I agree that a teacher should ask the child's parents before using CP on them. Otherwise it should up to the parents to discipline their kids so long as they do so and not just sit on their asses and let the children run wild as so many do these days.
