You know, the Beck's weew church shopping. I find that a unique American thing - changing churches like you change gym memberships (so faith is really a weird thing here which changes as you change churches) because in the end I don't think its about faith per say. In America, the church seems to me to be the country club for the lower masses. I know Beck is rich now but back then he was not that rich.

I respect your view point. I may be over reaching in my comments, but I see Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. all being divisive influences in our country. We need to find ways to reach common ground, acknowledging that we will not agree on everything. Speech that inflames does nothing but further divide us as a nation. Beck obviously has an audience, and while he may be sincere in his belief, I think he is just sincerely wrong.

The elders in Salt Lake ought to be shaking their heads in disgust knowing this guy says their church gave him "balance." He was a non-practicing Catholic, but nevertheless a Christian Baptized in the ONLY Church directly founded by Jesus Christ. OK, so he drank, did drugs and botched his first marriage. I'm a new Glenn Beck fan. I think he is a great broadcaster and he cares about what is going on in the world and wants things to get better. I like that and I wish more people in talk radio were like him. I am so excited about Glenn Beck coming to Fox News on Janurary 19th!!!!! He's lucky to work in NYC!!! Greatest city in the world!!! I wish I worked there.

SICKENING! On the day after the Palin speech, I was in the car with my family. I couldn't wait to hear what GB had to say about it. All the kids were like, "Glen is going to be so excited!" Well, he was...in a very strange way. He called her speech conservative porn and simulated climaxing on the air. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! I thought it would end but it did not. Is this how Mormons behave????? If so, don't bother knocking on my door. It was horrible and embarrassing.

You can't handle life without having faith in god? You should try it sometime, you might be surprised. When I was little and I actually thought there was a god I was always nervous about doing something that would make god hate me, I would pray for things that wouldn't come true, and I would have to waste so much time going to church on sunday. For me, separating the truths and lies of religion made my life alot easier.
