Yes, Israel warned them to leave their houses/certain areas but since Gaza is closed where can they go? Gaza is such a small piece of land there is little refuge from bombs. It's counter-intuitive to warn someone to evacuate when they have nowhere to evacuate to.

The whole point is that non-civilians on the palestinian side often hide among civilians.
Surgical strikes in such cases are risky and can lead to casualties among civilians.

It really doesn't matter what you and I think, it matters globally what people believe and with the flat out evidence of Israel misuse of force/ crimes it's obvious the sympathy Israel continues to strive for is quickly vanishing as it should be.

Well:
1. Most of the world thought the world was flat.
2. Most of the world thought Hitler was not a threat until it was too late.
3.Most of the world knows nothing about the realities of Israel. For example, most of the world does not know that Israel offered to share the land since day one.
