  • As soon as I saw the thumbnail and title for this video, I smiled. Lovely mercury.

  • Don't break that bottle!!! Our local high school closed for a day becuase a (small) quantity of this was released during a lab accident. Yes, several Police and HAZMAT crews later, students were allowed to return the next day.

  • @backwoodsBrophil

    Typical overreaction to a non-existant danger. :-/

All you need to clean it up is 2 paper cards and some sulfur powder.

  • @TeravoltOrg Not everony is that smart ;P

  • ugh, i think you should have HW take this away... its toxic to everything... before people think ur gonna poison people with it, as u probably have enough to kill everyone in ontario... multiple times over

  • @iToasterman You have no clue about the actual toxicity of mercury metal do you? Elemental mercury is only about as toxic as lead and it's only a threat as a vapor. If I boiled and inhaled this yeah then it would kill me, but as a liquid it's for the most part harmless; it is too dense to be readily absorbed into the body. Hell I could even drink a dixie cup full of it and I'd be fine.

  • @TeravoltOrg acualy, post a video of one drop vs aluminium :D

  • @iToasterman I might just do that...

  • @TeravoltOrg please do one :D i saw another video, not to good but the mercury was eating away at the aluminum until over half the channel was destroyed..

  • @TeravoltOrg I just wouldn't recommend being near mercury for move then 10 minutes... well unless its in a jar.

  • the jiggling mercury experiment, so what are the conclusions? :) (jk)

  • @radumotisan

Through years of intense research and experimentation I've concluded that it is shiny.

  • @TeravoltOrg Good work Grenadier :) ! Looking at your plasma speaker I was wondering if plasma inside a neon tube would produce any audible sounds outside? Could you quickly hook a tube over the spark gap and let me know?

  • @HazzWold1993

    Just a soda glass jar.

  • I'd be pouring that in my hands and playing with it.

  • @jeriellsworth

Ahh but then it gets all dirty.

  • @TeravoltOrg Good point.
