Grant Hill was a great player during his tenure as a Piston. I am bummed the team could never advance past the first round however despite Hill and one of my favorite players Lindsey Hunter playing.
Thumbs up if you think Grant Hill is so nice - he even had a career twice!
But what for a Lakers team that was: van Exel, Fisher, Kobe, Eddie Jones, Byron Scott, Ceballos, Horry, Kersey, Campbell and Shaq! Was that the year the Lakers had 4 All Stars? Even I could have coached that team to 55+ wins! poor Del Harris...
If Hill could have made the career he deserved, he would be a much better comparision to LBJ than MJ...
B4 the injury, he was puttin' up the kinda' overall #s people praise LBJ for today, except hill was doin' it in a much tougher & physically demanding era..
And the fact that he's STILL an effective player today, just lets U know how good he was, and could've potentially been barring that injury.
Penny Hardaway is another guy like that.
Can U imagine those guys playing uninjured in the Y2K era, and under these rules today?!!
Wow.....thanks for posting this! I remember this game back in the days (the buzzer beating shot at least) Such an elegant player to watch, he does everything effortlessly, man some of those assists!!....And my man is still playing 13 years later, lol. Go Grant.....u the best.
Jeez how many 1-handed dunks did Otis Thorpe have that season??

I really feel bad that Grant Hill got injured...7 years was wasted...he would've been the next best after MJ...

@dyeyzeee He was a beast...Not quite MJ's level...but a true beast...Magic Johnson status.

In my opinion this guy was as good as anyone in the league right now.
Great athelticism, skills and fundamentals.
Shame about the injuries hitting him so hard, just as with Penny Hardaway and Larry Johnson.
