the balls look like soft body, or is that just the way the fire moves

the balls are softbody, but the deformation you see is the way fire looks.
the original balls don't deform that much

hey how did u get to light up the scene with the fires using vray.. i've been tryin to do that!

fume fx 1.0a interacts with vray (among other render engines), you just have to enable vray's GI and set the GI multiplier on fumeFX render properties.
