Is it just me? Or does it seem as though most of the ToneFactor subscribers as well as the guys at ToneFactor have a good taste in music? Top rated comment includes 'Prison Sex by Tool', then I just see a random comment about Kyuss. Props to you all, you beautiful people. Luv it on Bass too! But mine got sooooo much Gain, Drivin' it like you're drinvin it, it would blow up everything in my amp.

I can't go really higher that 2 (...or 7 to 8 o'clock).

even if i have a 20w tube head my fuzzwar doesn't sound this way. internal trim is set to max level, i use a telecaster with dually red lace sensor humbucker. sometimes it sound like if it's gated...any clue???

@ipnoteca something is probably wrong with your fuzz war. the earlier run of these pedals had some quality control issues that i've heard of before. i suggest that you contact death by audio. check their website for the email address... they are good people to work with.

Hey folks. I'm really looking for a good, creamy, classicsoundy fuzzpedal. I know Big Muff would do the work, but I want something beyond. The ultimate pedal for me would be the Mosrite Fuzzrite - really fuzzy and heavy. I'm not a great fan of these super hitech fuzz pedals which allows you to choose wave form etc - I just want a creamy and rich fuzz. Would this nail the Fuzzrite-tone?

This is the only fuzz pedal demo on youtube I find that makes me want to buy it. Every fricken other demo goes off into bluesy wanking and I don't get a chance to here some real chugging barre chords. Thank you, though I'll probably be $150 poorer pretty soon.

if you want a similar sound to this, make a dual-circuit "One knob fuzz" and bypass the volume pot on the second circuit. Add an NS-2 to get rid of the hiss and you're done. Then just use your amp's tone dials to get the right sound.

I play through a PA amp so the amount of bass and treble i want isnt filtered to guitar frequencies.

Got mine few days ago ... can't get the sound of the video. Dat thing's got so much gain, so much "power" that it blows my guitar's humbuckers off ! Have to change'em or sell this beauty back :'(

oh my i think this will definitely help but one key thing to remember is most of kyuss songs were sent in through a bass amp no wonder they were so heavy !!! send this baby through a bass amp? ....umm we'll see ;D
