I think it sucks that they walked off, but I can understand why. I don't know the venue's policy on cameras but I attend a lot of shows at House of Blues Boston. They allow cameras, but in some cases the artist can request no pics. Danzig did that when they played there last year. For all anyone knows, someone in the band could be prone to seizures or something from a flash. That said, it's crappy to screw the whole crowd because of 1 or 2 jerks.

Every on duty police were called on this, form the entire St Louis county, city, and all townships were called. There were cops form neighboring counties as well as state troopers.
LOL, the crowd was actually being pretty well-behaved and supportive of him after he had assaulted someone, but then he had to take his hissy fit one step further and bail on the whole concert....there's no excuse for rioting, of course, but he was such a prima donna that I can understand why they'd be pissed after they paid good money and took the time out of their day to see him.

Axl could have waited AFTER Rocket Queen and calmly walked over to security and said "That guy has a camera...please remove it from him or kick him out". Hes an entertainer...and as an entertainer, you must show some professionalism when dealing with the public...and this wasn't professional. If you love GNR, you'll know Axl has walked out of many, many shows, but there haven't been many shows that they cancelled half way through. He had told security to confiscate all cameras and video cameras or anything that can be used to record them playing and someone managed to get one in. Axel noticed someone taking a picture and decided to go a little overboard with the guy. He was wrong for jumping the crowd like that, but I can understand why he was mad. Canceling the show was also wrong, unless of course the people were given back their money or at least allowed to attend their next show. I STILL LOVE GNR

To get a reaction - which they clearly did - and to spite the venue, who they were clearly pissed at for allowing the camera in. If you love GNR, you'll know Axl has walked out of many, many shows, but there haven't been many shows that they cancelled half way through. Normally the ones they cancelled were the ones Axl decided he didn't want to start for whatever reason.

I agree Axl is the best frontman ever but come on. he felt it was a privilege for fans to see him. and not the other way around. they gave him the life he has. the mansion on the hill. he wasnt GOD. the tour was not the AXL rose show (regardless of who he fired/hired to fuel his little fantasy) now it is, but thats another story. its sad to see Duffs expression at 1:08..cause you can tell he's having so much fun. oh well, still the most riveting explosive rock band of all time.
