Peter Csuhing set all those fools up..all were thieves and everything in his store is haunted. The Demonologists The Warrens would love to get their hands on that store
damn, everything in dudes shop is contaminated, right along w/ his customers. they only THINK theyre ripping him off. in the end, who REALLY comes out the winner?!
@TheNaomiengland because they were refurbishing their home, or outfitting a new home, or restoring an old house....that door was magnificent. I'd pay 50 pounds for that.
This segment terrified me as a child. I think it's because - apart from a couple of scary moments - it was played for laughs (a bit like a campier version of Blithe Spirit?) which doesn't prepare you for when things take a swift and horrific turn just when you think it's all over!
Peter's northern accent, and him being the keeper of a pokey shop reminds me of 'Open all hours'. I half expect him to shout 'Granville!'

@5.10 reminds me of the seventies recession. Pound notes seem a long way in the past

Wow! What a stroke of luck already having a frame that exactly matches a door you happen upon in an antiques shop.
