  • what a great post!Thanks!

  • @killbillyize ..... That was fairly well done. Keep spreading that message, i know i will

  • Great song. Powerful performance. A cut above their peers.

  • This band kicks tail! oh yes bring on the talent and the rock long live the pretty boys and the glam and the make up and the londg pretty hair and the lip stick and the pantyhose and the wee pretty little boots. Ma ma said are your friends all girls? no mama they are all boy geourges.

  • das Original-Video haben dieses Motherfucker in Deutschland wieder mal gekillt...wer schickt diese endlich zur Hölle!!!

  • amazing <3

  • When I was a teenager around the late 80's and early 90's, I was into heavier bands like Metallica, Seplutra, Slayer, DRI, Anthrax and so forth. I didn't really appreciate listening to Glam bands back then until now. I wish I have taken the opportunity to attend great Glam band concert like Britny Fox. It's a shame!

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS TERRIFIC CLASSIC VIDEO!.... LONG LIVE ROCK n ROLL!! =)

  • @rockeruss555 CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE UPLOAD ALL BRITNEY FOX CLIPS PLEASE???

  • Amazin' Just pure excellence!

    Hair Metal rules!

  • awesome voice, right on the mark

  • Don't forget the fun is out in Texas song too. It wasn't bad, but this and girls school the best ones.

  • LATER PERFECTED BY NANCY WILSON...

  • she did?!...

  • 1.23 is a total shawn drover move, later copied by kip winger.

  • that move was invented way before that....

check out " Wildwood NJ 80s Rock Dead End Kids"

  • 'We'll be right back with more Debbie Gibson, but right now here is Britney Fox.'

Ha ha ha, I can't stop laughing at that. I used to love these guys. Their two songs hold up better than Poison and most of the other glam bands.

  • Please oh' please bring back the glam scene...I miss the 80's sooooooooooooooo much!!!

  • Dean produced our album hehe. I wonder if he can still do the splits?

  • fuck a dollar a minute. that would have been heaps

  • Used to cost me a fucking fortune, but most of the time it was worth it.

  • im sure it was. u were probably the 1st in australia to hear motley

  • I knew of at least one person that got a copy on cassette before I got the vinyl, but yeah I heard it very early on. Still an awesome album.

  • witch 2 songs they play live???

  • Girlschool & Long Way To Love

  • omg they're such a wannabe motley crue. even the drummer at the start does the drum twirls tommy does

  • Personally, I don't think they're copying the Crue at all. Sure, they were a product of their time and influences, but I don't see a direct Crue 'wannabe' thing here. Also, Tommy Lee has acknowledged he got the stick twirling from The Sweet's Mick Tucker. Very few bands are totally original.

  • dude, he got the drum stick twirling from his marching band. and motley were original. no other band was like them. they were the heaviest band around when they were starting (1981-1982)

  • He's said he got it from Mick Tucker is all I'm saying. They readily admitted their influences in many early interviews & a lot of them are noticable on the first album in particular.

However, they still managed to carve out their own original sound and image and they were definitely taking it further than any band had gone before. I got the Leathur Records album in late 81. I remember how new and fresh it was & the impact it had on me. They were the coolest looking band around back then too.

  • well dude, i have to thank you for not being a dickhead and for leting us debate it properly. without swearing at each other and all that jazz.

(must be cos we're both aussies :D"

wait a sec, if ure an aussie, how did u get the Leathur record!

    chill

    steve

  • No probs.

I used to tape trade back in the day with a coupla dudes in LA and one sent a copy. Wish they'd sent the Stick To Your Guns/Toast Of The Town single too!

  • ahhh good old metal! tape trading. so did u like get parcels from la with motley on it. wow thats fucking old school. just like in that history of heavy metal book

  • I first heard of the Crue through an OTT review of the album in England's 'Sounds Magazine' (which I still have). I asked the LA dudes about it and one sent a copy. That was the first time I actually saw a pic of the band.

I miss the old tape trading circles, though I don't miss the time it took to get stuff. Actually, I used to do a lot of my trading by phone....when it used to cost over a dollar a minute to call the US, ha ha.

  • i agree too, i saw them in UK support Alice Cooper they were great.. this is how i remember them. thanks for posting

  • God I miss those days. music just aint the same no more

  • Totally agree!

  • I remember seeing this years ago and just the other day I was thinking about it and thought ain't no way anyone would have this on youtube. Can't believe it!! Thanks adelaidejetboy
